We stayed 3 nights at bedroom number 2 in B&B Villa Arancio at the beginning of spring. It is located in the center of Ghiffa, so there are several choices of eateries within walking distance. The house is surrounded by old streets leading to the main road, which is great for strolling. Otherwise, the lakeside pathway opposite the main street is also a good choice. Both the bedroom and the exclusive-use bathroom are spacious and clean with a breathtaking view from the bedroom balcony. Breakfast was excellent with homemade bread, pastries, cakes, and even jam! The host is very kind and friendly; he even made diabetic-friendly pastries due to my special need. Thank you, Roberto!

It's an excellent B&B, the rooms are very beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and the owner is very welcoming.

Roberto is really a great and friendly host and offers probably the best breakfast, with for example different homemade rolls, bread and cakes every day. The wonderful B&B is located a stone throw away from Lago Maggiore with a wonderful view of the lake. Our high-quality e-bikes were safely stored in the cordoned-off garden. The garden offers a wonderful place to relax. We will definitely come back to Roberto's Villa Arancio and recommend it for other travellers.

An enchanting quiet location just a few steps from the lake. Very well-kept and welcoming. Congratulations to Roberto, the owner, who prepares breakfasts with skillful mastery and with locally handcrafted products.

We had a great week at Villa Arancio with three of us (including a three-year-old child). The clean room with air conditioning and direct access to the garden was perfect for our needs. The well-kept garden is a great place to relax or enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the lake. For a swim, you just have to go down the stair-like road and cross the street (2 minutes). The breakfast is exceptional for a Bed and Breakfast, thanks to Roberto and his skills as a pastry chef. Furthermore, Roberto is just a very nice, accommodating but in no way intrusive host. We will gladly come back when we visit Lake Maggiore.

The host Roberto is simply super dedicated and great in every way. \nThe homemade breakfast is amazing.

Excellent facility near Verbania, convenient for a tour of the lake in the northern part. Our room had a splendid lake view with a terrace, sun loungers, and a table with chairs. Great relaxation area in the meadow. Breakfast is entirely prepared by Roberto with freshly baked bread, delicious brioches, and jams. Definitely recommended. Very quiet area.

Exquisite breakfasts, always different, prepared every day by Roberto, an excellent pastry chef, meticulous manager, and owner of the property, a very kind, welcoming, and very helpful person. His advice and information provided were particularly useful and valuable for organizing our outings to discover Lake Maggiore. Finally, Ghiffa, three kilometers north of Verbania, is a small charming village, relaxing and quiet, on the shores of the lake, with some good restaurants offering local cuisine, convenient for easily reaching the most well-known locations. Free parking along the lakeside, convenient for the property. A holiday that we will remember with joy.

Lovely place, affable landlord and excellent breakfast.

Roberto is a great host, very friendly and super helpful. He prepares a homemade, fresh breakfast every day that is outstanding! Our room had a fantastic view of the lake. \nIt is important to note that this property is only accessible by stairs/a foot path, not by car.

I highly recommend B&B Villa Arancio by Roberto, a super warm welcome, a clean, functional and comfortable room. A large terrace with sun loungers and a magnificent view of the lake in peace and quiet. Excellent breakfast, there is something for everyone's taste. Local cold cuts and cheese. Very nice and spacious rooms with a view of the lake and mountains. Roberto has learned to be a pastry chef and always bakes fresh bread and pastries for breakfast. There is a garden with seating where you can relax.

Roberto is a very kind and thorough host. The lovingly prepared breakfast was special every day. Unfortunately, the room only has one door and no additional window, and the large mirror next to the bed bothered us a bit. So only 9 out of 10 points. But those were really just minor things. However, you could use the garden.

B&B Villa Arancio met all our needs and expectations, my husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa with a nice outdoor space. We stayed in the top floor room and we loved our terrace with a rapturous view of the lake. The host Roberto was most friendly and accommodating. An experienced chef, he produced delicious fresh bread and brioches every day as part of the breakfast which we very much enjoyed. The villa is just a few steps (and stairs) away from the lake, with nice swimming spots, and close to the natural reserve. We would definitely like to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Kindness, Cleanliness, Stunning location, great price, the owner Roberto is truly a great Gentleman, for how he welcomes guests and pampers them with his special breakfasts. Highly recommended this B&B. We will definitely return to this magnificent place.

Beautiful B&B with a lovely garden (garden furniture available) not far from the lake. Nice view. We had a spacious and comfortable room; the bathroom was rather small, but everything was present and worked perfectly. Roberto provided an unbeatable breakfast every morning with freshly baked bread (different every day!) and cakes. Fresh orange juice, cold cuts and cheese, yogurt and also delicious coffee: everything was there. Roberto also gave us tips for excursions in the area and reserved a table for us at the nearby restaurant. Highly recommended!

The three of us spent 6 days in this accommodation and the beautiful surroundings. B&B Villa Arancio has been beautifully renovated and we enjoyed a brilliant view from the room and the garden overlooking the lake. The room was spacious, so setting up the children's travel cot was no problem. In the garden, there was always a shaded spot even in the height of summer, along with various garden furniture to suit all tastes. There is no direct parking at the hotel, but that was not an issue for us. The B&B is very clean, the breakfast was one of the best we've had on our travels. The host always provided us with a high chair for the children and a kettle. The fridge in the room is very practical. The host speaks very good German and is very fond of children. Thank you for the lovely time at Villa Arancio.

Wow, what an experience! We miss Roberto's wonderful breakfasts already! Every day the breakfast is super fresh and different, and therefore a beautiful surprise at the beginning of a new day. We stayed at Roberto's property for 5 nights, doing some serious bike riding. The breakfast was amazing and delicious, with tasty home-made breads, croissants and cakes as well as some regional cheese, prosciutto, fruits and much more. We even could grab some oranges from the tree in the garden. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything you need to regenerate well for the next ride. We do definitely recommend the Villa Arancio for a stay at Lago Maggiore.

Unfortunately, you can only give 10 points! The best and cleanest accommodation ever! And we have already stayed in very good hotels. Roberto is a very kind and attentive host who leaves nothing to be desired. His breakfast, highly praised on the Internet, is even better than described and everything is fresh. The pastries made by him were simply delicious. The fact that Roberto does everything, including room cleaning, is almost unbelievable! And puts every housewife in the shade for how clean everything is! Just great. Thank you for everything Roberto.

The room with balcony was very spacious, with a large balcony offering a beautiful view of the lake. Although the bathroom was across the hallway, it was not a problem. The breakfast was simply fantastic: you were awakened by the scent of freshly baked bread. There were always two types of bread, two freshly baked cakes, homemade jams, and much more. Just for that reason alone, the accommodation would be worth it.

Very beautiful structure, very clean, with a well-equipped small outdoor garden. The assigned room was very spacious, the bathroom huge, with small attentions much appreciated, lake view. Mr. Roberto an exceptional guest, skilled cook. Breakfast is worth the stay. Only small difficulty the parking, not easy to find in this small village. Great!

Truly beautiful. Roberto is super professional. Welcoming, precise and attentive to customer needs. I confirm the generosity of the breakfast with a choice of savory and sweet (the sweet and bread are prepared by himself). The cold cuts and cheese are niche products from the adjacent valleys. Roberto is also attentive to suggesting excursion proposals from the more challenging ones to visiting the islands of the lake. The structure can only be reached on foot, but the car can be parked along the main road less than 1 minute away on foot. I highly recommend it to all those who love peace and courtesy.

We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Villa Arancio. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated, the bathroom very spacious and beautiful! All rooms were very clean! Breakfast was excellent every morning and a real treat! The bread, the cakes, the jams - all homemade. Every morning we were excited about the pastries - each time there were different delicacies with which we were spoiled. Just delicious. We also loved the small garden with its hammock and sun loungers. It was simply a beautiful and relaxing holiday, which passed by too quickly.

Das erste..Roberto, der Besitzer des B&B ist mit Leib und Seele für sein B&B und seine Gäste da. Das Haus ist sehr sehr sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und dekoriert. Unser Zimmer war groß genug, das Bett / Matratzen sehr gut. Das Bad war riesig groß und mit allem ausgestattet. Wenn es für jemanden wichtig ist, das Wifi funktioniert nicht gut. Wenn es jemanden wichtig ist, es gibt keinen Fernseher im Zimmer. Uns hat das nicht gestört. Vielleicht wenn es regnet und man nicht unterwegs sein möchte?! Das letzte Stück von der Parkmöglichkeit bis zum B&B sind ungefähr 50 Meter, einige Treppen hoch. Daher sollte das Gepäck nicht so groß / unhandlich und zu schwer sein. Empfehlung! Ein bezauberndes Haus, hübsch eingerichtet und ein herzlicher Gastgeber. Roberto begrüßte uns herzlich, zeigte uns alles, wir fühlten uns wohl. Roberto gibt gerne Tipps für Restaurants, Pizzeria‘s in der Umgebung. Dann zum Frühstück: Nochmal Wow! Roberto ist Bäcker und Konditor! Jeden Tag frisch gebackenes Brot, Brötchen und leckeren Kuchen oder Sweets, täglich verschiedenen Käse, Schinken, Salami, Tomaten, Eier (Rührei oder anders), selbstgemachte Marmelade, Honig, Säfte. Man öffnet morgens die Zimmertür, dann strömt der Duft einer Bachstube entgegen. Habe ich was vergessen? Vielleicht?! Es war einfach fantastisch. Unkompliziert und familiär. Wir wurden liebevoll versorgt. Die Kommunikation funktionierte sehr gut da Roberto sehr gut deutsch spricht. Wir kommen wieder!

Roberto, der Betreiber des B&B steckt viel Liebe in seine Unterkunft. Er bietet jeden Morgen ein Suoer Frühstück (frisches Brot, Brötchen und Kuchen. Als gelernter Konditor hat er jeden Tag andere Spezialitäten). Er hat gute Tipps für lokale Restaurants und für Ausflüge. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind gross und sauber. Wir kommen bald wieder.

Nettes kleines Haus mit 3 Gästezimmern. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber mit täglich wechselndem selbst gebackenem Brot und Kuchen zum reich ausgestatteten Frühstücksbuffet. Von der Terrasse aus sehr schöner Blick auf den See.

Roberto ist wohl der freundlichste, charmanteste Gastgeber am gesamten Lago, ach was, von Italien. Das beste ist aber sein Frühstück und die Liebe, mit der er jeden Morgen immer verschiedenes frisches Brot, Brötchen und süßes Gebäck zubereitet. Geweckt wird man dann morgens vom köstlichen Duft frisch gebackener Leckereien und ein saubereres Bed & Breakfast haben wir auch noch nie erlebt. Wir werden sobald als möglich wieder kommen.

Es hat uns gut gefallen- vor allem von dem Duft frisch gebackener Kuchen und Brötchen morgens geweckt zu werden. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und auch sehr Babyfreundlich und hat uns in allen Belangen ausgeholfen. Danke!

Ein echtes Juwel - tolle Zimmer, grandiose Aussicht und das Frühstück ist ein Traum. Roberto ist ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber und wir haben super Tipps von ihm erhalten. Wenn du ein paar schöne Tage am Lago Maggiore verbringen möchtest, ist die Villa Arancio der perfekte Ausgangspunkt dafür.

Dieses charmante Haus liegt traumhaft gelegen mit einem tollen Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore. Der Gastgeber backt jeden morgen selbst frisches Brot und Kuchen. Das Frühstück ist ein absoluter Genuss. Seine Gastfreundschaft ist sehr angenehm. Da das Haus auf einem Hügel liegt, ist die Erreichbarkeit ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Parken ist nicht vor dem Haus möglich. Trotzallem gibt's von mir für das Haus eine 10*.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host and breakfasts were amazing. We enjoyed being away from the crowds and the views from the property were beautiful. This would without a doubt be the best accommodation we stayed in Italy as far as the views, hospitality and breakfast were concerned. There is a lot of pride and the host is a beautiful person recommending restaurants for dinner which we tried and loved. Cannot speak more highly of B&B Villa Arancio and will definately return for the breakfast and the views.

Il signor Roberto ci ha permesso di trascorrere due giorni indimenticabili nel suo bellissimo e curatissimo B&B. Un'oasi di accoglienza e professionalità. La colazione poi senza pari, con torte, pasticcini, diversi tipi di pane e marmellate fatte in casa. Consigliatissimo.

Bella struttura con tre camere in seconda fila rispetto al lungolago di Ghiffa, la posizione rappresenta comunque un vantaggio in quanto la prima fila di case sulla strada lungolago stessa filtra il rumore veicolare, possibilità di parcheggio lungo strada o in spazi dedicati un poco più avanti. Ottima accoglienza del simpatico e premuroso Roberto, bella la stanza assegnataci con ampi spazi sia in camera da notte sia nella stanza da bagno; ottimo il riassetto e pulizia della stanza, comodo il letto (anche se la struttura è un pelino rumorosa, cosa comunque di poco conto) ed i guanciali, grande armadio e molto efficiente ed utile il frigorifero; non si sente la mancanza del televisore, sopperito per altro da un ottimo WIFI. Colazione ottima, variata soprattutto nella parte dolce con un grande Roberto che delizia i suoi ospiti con pani, dolci brioche prodotti personalmente, buoni anche i formaggi locali. Con la bella stagione possibilità di colazione all'aperto della veranda e spazio verde attrezzato con lettini per prendere il sole e rilassarsi.

Great B&B & fab host. We stayed one night on our way back to the Netherlands. Had dinner at the local trattoria. Got up early the next morning to get to the Gotthard and Roberto had made a gorgeous take-away breakfast. It was a great stay-over. Thank you Roberto.

Wir waren im Juni 2017 bei Roberto und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und extrem sauber. La villa est superbe, la chambre magnifique, propre, avec une terrasse et vue sur le lac magnifique. Il y a des places de parking sur le bord de route à 2 minutes de la villa. Roberto est super gentil est n'a pas hésité à nous aider lorsqùon a eu des soucis de voiture. Il est très à l'écoute et son petit déjeuné et super bon. Nous avons passé deux jours super à Ghiffa.

Wir denken immer noch gerne an unseren Aufenthalt bei Roberto. Es war etwas ganz besonderes bei diesem liebenswürdigen Menschen zu wohnen, das ganze Haus strahlt das auch aus. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzlichst Maren und Fritz.

Ein B&B mit sehr schöner Lage. Der Betreiber (Roberto) ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns nochmals bei Roberto für die schöne Zeit.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit in der Villa verlebt. Roberto ist ein phantastischer Gastgeber, der einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Er ließ es sich auch nicht nehmen, uns zu einem Krankenhausbesuch zu begleiten, der leider notwendig war. Wir können diese Unterkunft und diesen Gastgeber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen. Danke.

Alles tiptop! Tolles B&B, super Frühstück und perfekter Gastgeber Roberto. Einziges Manko: viele Stufen (wie oft am Lago Maggiore), aber selbst mit Kinderwagen ist das trotzdem machbar. Wir habe es sehr genossen und hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub bei Roberto!

Wir waren über Ostern drei Tage bei Roberto und sind vollkommen begeistert von der Unterkunft, dem Frühstück und der Gastfreundschaft von Roberto. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Beste ist aber das Frühstück. Wenn man schon mit dem Duft von frisch Gebackenem aufwacht, kann der Tag nur gut werden. Es gab jeden Morgen frischen selbstgebackenen Kuchen, süße Teilchen, Brot und Semmeln. Roberto ist nämlich gelernter Bäcker und Konditor.

Danke Roberto, es war sehr schön, wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Mit frisch gebackenen Brötchen, Brot und Kuchen hast Du uns verwöhnt. Der perfekte Gastgeber, Danke.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Roberto. Das Zimmer war toll eingerichtet, sah aus wie frisch renoviert und war sehr sauber. Die Villa Arancio ist insgesamt sehr schön und sehr gepflegt. Der Seeblick während des Frühstücks und aus dem Zimmer ist wirklich toll. Roberto backt Brot, Brötchen, Croissants und Törtchen zum Frühstück selbst. Da er das unheimlich gut kann schmeckt das Frühstück einfach Weltklasse. Wir können Roberto und seine Villa uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen und kommen gern wieder!

Wir waren 10 Tage bei Roberto und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Roberto hat uns immer mit Tipps weitergeholfen, hatte alle Prospekte des Sees in seinem Haus, sein Frühstück war Sonderklasse. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Balkon und tollem Blick über den See und auf die Berge, abends kann mann hier gut verweilen. Das Haus liegt in der 2. Reihe, so das von dem Strassenlärm nicht viel zu hören ist. Nur positives!

Buona colazione. Possibilità anche di parcheggiare senza difficoltà negli spazi pubblici adiacenti il B&B. Sicuramente da consigliare.

Super Aufenthalt am Lago Maggiore! Roberto ist ein super netter Gastgeber und das Frühstück ist fantastisch - jeden Tag frisches Brot und selbstgemachter Kuchen! Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Roberto Bergamaschi ist der geborene Gastegeber und für alle seine Gäste der ideale Ansprechpartner. Die nähere und die weitere Umgebung der Villa Arancio kennt er sehr gut und gibt tolle Tipps und Hilfestellungen. Er erfüllt mit seinem Können als Konditor alle Wünsche an ein Frühstück, die man sich nur vorstellen kann. Zimmer, Küche, Garten und die gesamte Umgebung ist perfekt gepflegt und absolut sauber. Wir sind sehr froh, bei Ihm gewohnt zu haben.

In der sehr gepflegten und charmanten Villa von Gastgeber Roberto. Wir können uns den Kommentaren ebenfalls nur anschliessen. Sehr grosse Zimmer, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber, schöne Ausstattung mit Augenmerk auf kleine Details und jeden morgen ein strahlendes Lachen des Gastgebers mit einem wunderbaren Frühstück mit frisch gebackenen Köstlichkeiten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt in seiner Oase. Die kleinen Tipps für Ausflüge, wo man am besten parkiert, etc. waren ebenfalls sehr hilfreich. Alle unsere Erwartungen wurden erfüllt, ja übertroffen.

Wir haben uns bei Roberto immer sehr wohl gefühlt und wie zu Hause. Da wir mit unserem Baby unterwegs waren, war es uns wichtig dass es im Hotel sauber und ruhig ist, das haben wir alles dort wiedergefunden. Roberto hat jeden Tag leckere Kuchen zum Frühstück gebacken und öfters uns Tipps gegeben, wo und am besten wie man Ausflüge machen kann. Roberto, wir erinnern uns sehr oft an dich und würden gern wieder in deine Villa nach Ghiffa reisen.

Die Villa Arancio ist ein wunderbarer Ort. Roberto schafft es, dass sich seine Gäste von der ersten bis zur letzten Minuten wohl fühlen. Das Frühstück mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen ist großartig und wird auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den See serviert. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Den Tag kann man wunderbar im schattigen Garten ausklingen und die Seele baumeln lassen. In jeder Beziehung empfehlenswert!
