The Antico Rifugio is very nice, new and right in the center, so you can easily move around. It is in a ZTL area, but a convenient free parking is just a 2-minute walk away. Just a few steps from the property are the center of Carovigno and its castle, which we were able to visit in the evening with a guide; the sea is also a fifteen-minute drive away at most. The owner, as well as his father, is a very polite, kind, and helpful person. The room we stayed in was the only one with an external bathroom, always private, which can be inconvenient especially at night, but we were informed and accepted it anyway. We really appreciated the room cleaning service and the bathroom accessories (shower gel, hairdryer, and post-shower mat). The room has air conditioning, but we were so cool that it was not necessary. Unfortunately, there was no signal in the house, despite having two different operators, and wifi is not offered. The ad listed among the services, and also in the photos, a "kitchenette", but once we arrived we were told it could not be used for regulatory reasons. It would be better to know this in advance, so you can consider other accommodations or organize differently, especially considering that breakfast is not even offered (or at least packaged products). This is the only aspect I have to complain about, otherwise excellent Antico Rifugio.

B&B located in a historic building, but modernized without removing the Apulian touch (tuff stones). The room was very clean and always fragrant. The host Anna was always kind, friendly, and helpful. If we have the chance, we will gladly return.

Positive note the welcome and availability of Vincenzo. Unfortunately, due to covid, it was not possible to have a plentiful breakfast with different choices that one expects when booking a B&B because it was affiliated with a questionable bar with limited choices. The room is characteristic of the place and cozy. Super air conditioning! The location is in the center of Carovigno and parking is very easily found a minute from the room. Recommended for a peaceful stay.

Beautiful and clean structure, comfortable bed, very convenient location, convenient parking. The landlord is a very kind person, the breakfast bar serves excellent pastries. I have nothing to say, in fact, I must say that Antico Rifugio is a magical place.

Maria Tramo is very polite and always attentive to every need. The structure is new, clean in the historic center and a minute walk from the central square. Carovigno is very nice, quiet, clean and well located for getting around. If I had to find a downside: the lack of bins to separate the waste since there is a common kitchen that you can use. Low rating for breakfast because it has to be done at the bar, which I don't like. Otherwise, very satisfied, I will return.

Beautiful structure and great availability of the owner.

Decent, it's a pity that the shower was not in good maintenance condition and we had to stop it with a brush. Every day we had to ask for vouchers to have breakfast at the bar associated with the facility. For the rest, we found the place comfortable and the manager courteous. They probably need to gain experience.

Very good stay! The room was spacious, comfortable and very well located, in the heart of Carovigno. The host was very responsive, pleasant and accommodating. We were able to enjoy the breakfast which was typical and very good. We will come back with pleasure!

Very cozy room ideal for a couple. Excellent location of the B&B in the historic center of Carovigno; moreover, a very charming town full of good places to eat traditional dishes. The sea, 10 minutes by car, is as beautiful and clean as we expected. Last but not least, it's worth noting the friendliness and availability of the owners. Lorena and Pino.

I had already been to the Antico Rifugio about 6 years ago, with some friends, and I returned this year with the family. I stayed in what was once a simple double room with a balcony, but which is currently the quadruple room with balcony and en suite bathroom following some renovations of the structure. The room is very tidy and spotless, extremely bright due to the windows that overlook 2 sides of the house, all with mosquito nets. The only note: we found ourselves with the north wind and so just opening the windows was enough to sleep cool, however, the air conditioning in the main room is not enough to cool even the small room with the bunk bed, for which maybe a ceiling fan would be useful instead, because if the south wind blows or as in our case, still and humid air upon arrival, in that small room it gets definitely too hot. There is the possibility to use the shared kitchen for breakfast, but this year they are experimenting with an agreement with a local bar a stone's throw from the property. I must say that breakfast at the bar is excellent, but, as suggested to the B&B manager, I personally believe that for families with young children it is more convenient to use the kitchen. However, we organized ourselves in a mix: I went to get breakfast at the bar and brought it to the B&B, where the children consumed it in the kitchen indeed. The manager, Vincenzo, with his wife and father, are really easy-going, exquisite people and always available, also for information about the immediate surroundings. I like this structure because it is so familiar!

The B&B is located in a quiet area but in a short time you can reach both the sea and the city of Ostuni. Good value for money, the room is very cozy and welcoming. Vincenzo, the owner, is very kind and very helpful.
