What a beautiful place and the host and hostess are very nice people. Breakfast was excellent in a very nice room. Close to Lucca.

An absolute delight from the warm welcome to the parting like old friends. The property is perfect, lives up to the website descriptions and more. The room was huge, beautifully adorned and very comfortable. The gardens lovely to walk around, the patio overlooking the gardens a relaxation zone. Breakfast was abundant and varied, first time in Italy we have been offered freshly cooked eggs and they were perfect. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, doing everything to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Lovely! A dive into the past in a wonderful villa immersed in greenery. Strategic position to reach Torre del Lago avoiding the traffic of the state roads. The same for reaching the center of Lucca. Breakfast within the norm.

It is charming. Careful in the details that do not denature its origin. A dive into the last century. It is clear that Mara and Floriana have put effort and heart into creating harmony in an already magical place.

I stayed for two nights. I really appreciated the property. Excellent management. High-quality breakfast. Fresh cakes every morning. Convenient private park. Enclosed parking. Halfway between Lucca and Pisa. Excellent value for money.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this B&B during Lucca Comics. The property is located 10 minutes by car from the city walls. Mrs. Marta was very kind in welcoming us and immediately available: she drove us to the center in her car and took care of booking a restaurant for dinner. The property is characterized by a beautiful garden and is in the typical Tuscan farmhouse style. Breakfast is served in the dining room where you feel at home (note the presence of the lit fireplace in the room). We were really happy with this experience. Recommended.

I stayed at this bed and breakfast for one night, during Lucca Comics, and I had a great time. Villa La Dogana is charming, surrounded by greenery (too bad I didn't have time to enjoy it!) and elegantly furnished; there are also two very sweet tabby cats roaming around. The hospitality is excellent: if there's a need to recommend a restaurant, prepare a herbal tea, or offer an extra blanket for the night, they don't hold back. My room was clean, very spacious, and equipped with all the comforts (en-suite bathroom with a nice large shower, hairdryer, toiletry set). The breakfast was good and plentiful. All this for a very affordable price (considering the holiday period, as well as the fair period). The location was the only downside because few means of transportation passed by those days, but the very kind owner came to pick me up in Lucca twice when I was in difficulty (thanks again!). Highly recommended!

Oasis of peace, Villa La Dogana is wonderful and rich in history, managers are available and attentive. Recommended place for a stay focused on relaxation and nature, 10 minutes from the center of Lucca.

Fantastic dwelling, rich in history, immersed in an enchanting park. We had an excellent welcome, Marta was very kind and attentive to our needs. Definitely a recommended structure for everyone!
