I booked this accommodation, choosing it among others, attracted by the photos and the proximity to the famous Casa La Ciura in Punta Secca, being a fan of the well-known commissioner. But I hadn't imagined that, already on the second day, I would almost forget the reason why I was there. The beauty of the structure, the simplicity of the furnishings, the peace and serenity, the absence of noises, the possibility of going down for a swim and going back home without even wearing slippers, the absence of television and other forms of technology, being able to cook a quick meal outdoors and eat while looking at the panorama, falling asleep listening to the sound of the sea... Well, all these things have made everything else fade into the background. I literally fell in love with this place. The canopy bed and the sea-view bathtub were contested by the whole family for our 4 days of stay. It was a short vacation but it will certainly remain etched in my memories. A warm greeting to Velia, the friendly host, kind and discreet. I highly recommend a stay in this wonderful place, Montalbano aside.

Absolutely unique, beautiful and meticulously clean structure. I would say an artistic structure 5 meters from the sea - all sweetened by the great sympathy and professionalism of Velia who makes you enter as a customer and makes you leave as a friend with her wonderful welcome. My partner and I have just returned after spending a week as guests at Casa La Ciura. We spent a week relaxing, welcomed on the beautiful terrace overlooking the clear sea of Punta Secca, which is surrounded by many small natural pools formed by rocks covered with vegetation that allow you to walk softly while the sea water laps at your legs, a very pleasant and refreshing sensation. Enchanting place to enjoy pleasant summer evenings in the fresh breeze on the terrace under an equipped gazebo where you can sip a good icy drink admiring the starry sky and listening to the sound of the sea breaking on the shore. It is just over twenty minutes from Marina di Ragusa where you can stroll in the evening and enjoy carefree and fun dining. In conclusion, we recommend everyone to try at least even just for a few days to stay at Casa La Ciura and specifically on the terrace with the yurt, a truly magical place.

If you want beach service, go to Rimini, if you want nightlife in the evening, go to Viareggio, if you want unforgettable vacation days, go to visit Velia and her house, her yurts, the terrace that no matter how hard you try, you won't understand... until you experience it!

The terrace of Casa La Ciura was a moment of paradise in our Sicilian holiday. Like living on the deck of a boat and diving into the sunset every day. Available, outdoors, but sheltered from the hot sun and lulled by the sea breeze, many comfortable and well-equipped spaces: a corner to relax, one to cook, one to prepare and enjoy a cool drink, one to dine under the stars. All 10 meters above the beach, a flight of stairs to reach the sea, 5 minutes walk to services, restaurants, shops. And then a dive into a distant culture: the yurt for rest. Montalbano was there on the terrace at the end of the beach watching over us! Congratulations indeed to the imagination of those who conceived this unique, functional, fascinating solution.

Particularly unique structure, in person it is much more impressive than in the pictures, a well-organized terrace to be fully experienced with the utmost freedom, overlooking the sea just 20 meters away. The relaxing atmosphere, a secluded corner, comfortable to live in, meticulously cared for. Arriving by chance in this corner of paradise was a nice gift... pleasant meeting with the owner, very kind and attentive... congratulations for what she has achieved and for the location, see you soon dear Velia, best wishes for the future Bernardo and Rosamaria.

Very good location, two terraces at our disposal, breathtaking sea view, lovely welcome. The stay in the yurts is very pleasant, only small downside but nothing compared to the charm of the place, lukewarm not hot water! The village in this season is very quiet, very satisfying stay.

I've been to the yurt years ago and I came back because I was thrilled by the place! I love this terrace, the bed, and the sea view bathtub. Convenient for those who don't want to drive, beach just below the house and supermarket 100 meters away. I brought my dog and we had a great time! The owner is super nice.

The Holiday Home Casa La Ciura is a lovely place, the photos you see on the internet give a certain idea but in person it's truly a spectacle. The lady Velia is very kind, she was absolutely right in saying that her location would have pleased us.

Structure as in the photos, even more. Velina welcomed us warmly, it felt like I had known her forever. I had an unforgettable holiday, I experienced the sea in paradise.

Punta Secca luogo molto tranquillo per relax e vicinanza a luoghi del barocco casa molto accogliente e comoda e confortevole.

Posto meraviglioso e proprietaria gentilissima, l'unica cosa che non ho capito è il perché se si tratta di un B&B non esiste la colazione, comunque spero di ritornare presto a Punta Secca è davvero magica.

Splendido B&b sulla spiaggia di Punta Secca, camera comoda e funzionale, terrazza da sogno con una yurta mongola all'interno della quale si può dormire, impreziosita da una serie di creazioni di un artista locale specializzato nell'intaglio del legno. La cortesia e affabilità di Velia e Ingrid, poi, ti fanno sentire a casa!

Ottima e direi suggestiva posizione. Luogo ideale per una vacanza tranquilla e comoda. La casa del Commissario è raggiungibile a piedi in pochissimi minuti. Ingresso e ambiente confortevole (la doccia sembra l'Etna). Sentire le onde che il mare (calmo) che si infrangono sulle rocce a pelo d'acqua non ha prezzo. Titolari gentili e disponibili. Punta Secca affascinante ma sporca.

Posizione perfetta sul mare, ho soggiornato nella Yurta posizionata nel terrazzo. La tenda è ben fatta e comoda, il terrazzo spettacolare anche se nei giorni di vento è inutilizzabile. Proprietari gentili e discreti si sono visti poco. Non capisco perché un B&B non effettui la colazione ma poco importa ci era stato detto da subito.

La casa è molto carina e arredata con gusto. Vicinissima al mare. L'ottima posizione permette anche di muoversi liberamente verso il centro di Punta Secca. Ho apprezzato molto la gentilezza e la cortesia dei proprietari.
