Mrs. Monica is a very kind person. Unfortunately, our room did not have a lake view and was structured on two floors (the bed upstairs with sailor-style stairs). Breakfast, both sweet and savory, for all tastes. When we left the property, we forgot the souvenirs at the reception and after having lunch at the restaurant, we had to return. Monica was not on the property and no one could open for us, but after contacting her, she opened the door from her cell phone. She was really kind! Highly recommended.

A delightful little corner. The rooms are tastefully furnished in every detail and equipped with all comforts. Added value given by the small balcony overlooking the external garden positioned on the tower of the walls surrounding the city with a view of the lake. The structure is inside the walls, very close to the main street. Monica, the owner, was very kind and welcoming, the breakfast is good and served with a warm and homely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The B&B is located on the corner tower of the walls of Castiglione del Lago, in the historic center, near the "Porta Senese". The managers are very nice and make you feel at home. The breakfast is varied in both sweet and savory. The order and cleanliness are absolutely perfect. Enjoying the sunset in the garden on the Torrione is unparalleled. Highly recommended!

Monica and her husband were splendid hosts, they welcomed us with great kindness and availability. They gave us information and tips on places to see around the lake and where to eat. The room where we stayed was extremely clean and welcoming. The B&B is located in the historic center and from the garden you can enjoy a beautiful view. Castiglione del Lago is a village we did not know and it contains treasures: the visit to Palazzo Della Corgna and the Fortress was really worth it. Besides learning about the history of this family and admiring the frescoes by Pomarancio, from the fortress there is a beautiful view of the lake and the islands.

Definitely worth recommending.

A wonderful December 8th in Castiglione del Lago. Il Torrione is a little gem right in the center. Delightful and comfortable room, complete breakfast accompanied by the friendliness and sympathy of Monica.

Brand-new structure managed professionally. The owner Monica deserves praise for her courtesy and availability. Abundant breakfast and very comfortable rooms with autonomous air conditioning. Located inside the village in the heart of the historic center. In practice, simply exceptional.

Everything is perfect in this Bed and Breakfast with attention to detail in the room's decor. Not to mention the garden in front of the room and the exceptional view. Congratulations to the charming owner.

The perfect place to relax in the historic center of Castiglione del Lago. Monica and her husband are delightful people. We will definitely return.

We had a very pleasant stay at Il Torrione. Very comfortable and air-conditioned rooms, new bathrooms, breakfast in the garden overlooking the lake... And Monica is very friendly and gave us good advice. We will gladly come back!

Rooms are definitely small, very little space so not very comfortable. Otherwise, excellent.

Excellent structure, central location and with apartments also overlooking the lake garden, abundant breakfast, and Monica who welcomed us and suggested itineraries, a delightful and helpful person... recommended... we will be back! Laura and Antonello.

Beautiful structure in the center of the village. We stayed in the apartment complete with all comforts. Spectacular view from the little terrace overlooking Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. Central point to visit the villages around the lake, do not miss the visit to the two islands (Maggiore and Polvese). Exceptional reception and maximum availability and courtesy from Monica, whom we thank for the valuable tourist tips.

The owner is very nice and welcoming. The property is in a beautiful location and everything is very well organized and well maintained. The garden for guests with lake view is stunning.

Picturesque structure inside Il Torrione in Castiglione del Lago. Breakfast in the garden with exceptional lake view is a plus. We booked last minute and the smallest room was left. Being able to choose one of the rooms with direct access to the garden, it's worth an extended stay.

Structure in the historic center, with public parking nearby. Beautiful room directly overlooking the garden, in a splendid panoramic position. Friendly and helpful managers. Good breakfast.

First of all, compliments go to Monica, always kind, helpful, ready to advise and attentive to everything and to put at ease. I also add her husband Mirco, equally kind and courteous. Moving on to the structure, it is in a fantastic location within the walls of the old town, with the tower's garden offering a splendid view of the lake and the landscape. Having breakfast 'is priceless'. Room with all the comforts, tastefully furnished (Monica's touch for sure) and top cleanliness. Highly recommended.

We only spent two nights, enough to review this fantastic place, right in the historic center, and a stone's throw from the lake. From the tower that overlooks the hill, you can enjoy a truly spectacular landscape, and you can do so from the splendid garden, well-maintained and colored optimally by the manager. Monica is a perfect host, always kind, attentive to details, and always available to requests, and we with a 7-year-old child had many. We will definitely come back, highly recommended.

We stayed at the property for a short vacation. Monica is a person who knows how to make you feel comfortable, magnificent place, the garden even more so. Thanks, see you soon. Luca, Chiara, and Anna.

Splendida struttura con una collocazione incantevole. Sarà un piacere poterci ritornare.

B&B meraviglioso, un angolo di paradiso, la terrazza sul lago è incantevole, i gestori poi sono persone squisite. Esperienza fantastica.

Posizione strategica. Accoglienza ottima. Proprietari disponibili e gentilissimi. Super consigliato. Giardino strepitoso.

Monica è sua famiglia sono molto accogliente. Ho telefonato alle 18:15 e mi ha aspettato fino alle 19:00. Mi ha comprato gallette di riso (senza glutine) per la colazione. C'è sempre frutta e tutto per farti un tè. Lo raccomando.

Un gioiello incastonato fra le antiche mura di Castiglione del Lago con giardino sulla Torre vista lago. In ogni ambiente regnano arte e romanticismo. Tutto estremamente pulito e funzionale. Cortesia, simpatia e grande disponibilità da parte dei titolari Monica e Mirko. Ci torneremo senz'altro.

Un bellissimo B&B situato in un punto suggestivo di Castiglione del lago, se l'idea è venire da queste parti non esitate a prenotare questa bellissima struttura con un delizioso cortile interno ricavato da una delle torri di cinta del paese. La vista spazia sul lago ed il colpo d'occhio è favoloso. La titolare Monica e cortese e sempre a disposizione, la colazione abbondante ed abbastanza varia. Consigliatissimo!

B&B meraviglioso, proprietaria gentilissima, molto pulito e curato e cosa non scontata letti comodi! Abbiamo soggiornato in cima alla torre, dal terrazzino sui tetti si può ammirare il sorgere del sole e dal giardino privato il tramonto sul lago è poesia!

Ho regalato il soggiorno al torrione ai miei genitori per il loro 25anniversario di matrimonio. Sono rimasti senza parole per la bellezza del posto. La signora Monica, la titolare è stata fin da subito cordiale ed attenta ad ogni richiesta. La colazione abbondante è abbondante e le stanze di una pulizia impeccabile. Promosso a pieni voti con la promessa di ritornarci al più presto sicuramente!

Un posto magico, fuori dal tempo. Il Torrione é quello che cercavamo. Bellezza unica. Centralissimo. Ospitalità splendida. Monica è una perla di donna, pronta a soddisfare le nostre richieste. Ho dato 8 alla colazione solo perché di mia spontanea volontà ho preso un caffè e niente altro. Torneremo presto!

A comfortable stay in a very good location, about as close to the 'old town' shops as you can get. The garden - where a delicious breakfast of fresh croissants, coffee, yogurt and juice is served - is definitely the best asset, having great views across Trasimeno Lake. There is friendly, personal service - including a glass of chilled prosecco on arrival. Particularly helpful for us was the lift that the proprietor gave us (free of charge) from the train station up to the B&B and back. We've stayed here twice now and would definitely return.

B&B perfetto. Centralissimo, camera piccola ma dotata di tutti i confort, gestore gentilissimo e disponibile a fornire indicazioni (si è anche offerto di portarci alla stazione dei treni). Colazione abbondante con una splendida vista sul Lago Trasimeno. Consigliatissimo.

Ha tutto quello che vorresti trovare in un B&B, con l'aggiunta di un gestore gentleman di un'educazione e di una cortesia che raramente si incontrano. Ci ha dato delle indicazioni che si sono rivelate veramente utili e preziose. Non mancheremo di soggiornarvi alla prima occasione.

La struttura e la posizione sono splendide! Accoglienza cordiale che mette a propri agio. Poichè per accedere ad alcune camere ci sono scale ripide, suggerisco a chi prenota di specificare eventuali disabilità o difficoltà motorie. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Qui trascorriamo week end fantastici, circondati da tranquillità e immersi nella natura. Le stanze sono molto accoglienti, pulite e ben arredate anche se manca la TV. Il Signor Franco ci accoglie sempre con simpatia, e spesso è a lui che chiediamo consigli su cosa vedere di insolito nella zona oppure dove mangiare. La colazione molto abbondante viene sempre servita in giardino da dove si ha un'impagabile vista sul lago Trasimeno. Questo B&B è un ottimo punto di riferimento in quanto vicinissime ci sono meravigliose città d'arte come Siena, Cortona, Assisi Perugia, Orvieto.

Una struttura che consiglio per l'accoglienza dei gestori, per la pulizia, per la bella veduta che c'è dal giardino privato in cui abbiamo consumato un'abbondante colazione. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Peccato che non siamo potuti rimanere di più per motivi di lavoro.

We had a lovely stay at Il Torrione, in one of the very pleasant garden rooms. Great hosts - Karin welcomed us with a glass of chilled white wine after a long hot drive and Franco gave us maps and lots of local information. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a joy in Franco's beautifully tended gardens - a real oasis with wonderful views over the lake. In a peaceful position within the old walls of the centro storico. So glad we found it and will definitely return.

Struttura veramente eccellente e a mio avviso ineguagliabile per la posizione. Stupendo il giardino panoramico sul torrione con vista del lago Trasimeno. Eccellente l'accoglienza e la disponibilità del proprietario. Ottimo il rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Ottima e cordiale accoglienza, grande pulizia ed attenzione ai particolari, la dimora è storica e molto romantica, sembra di entrare in un'atmosfera di tempi medioevali ai bordi del lago, di cui si gode una buona vista.
