Very clean apartment in a lively area near the metro but a bit neglected. The owner gave us good directions to get to the apartment. There was a lack of some tableware and 2 wine glasses would have been appreciated. Good value for money.

Good welcome from our host. Breakfast is not what we expected (croissant in a packet, coffee, yogurt, and a bottle of juice). The accommodation is not suitable for asthmatics, too enclosed and very humid, lacks ventilation. Nice place well located.

B&B highly recommended! The owner was very kind and super helpful for check-in/check-out. The structure is completely renovated, except for the kitchenette which however has everything necessary. Large room and big bathroom are the strong points of the structure, in addition to the excellent location in the heart of San Polo, practically 15 minutes walk from everything. The only slightly below standard thing is the breakfast which involves a "do it yourself" with packaged products provided by the owner, certainly not inadequate as it is really rich and varied, but perhaps improvable.

Gianluca is indeed very kind, friendly, and helpful host. If you're coming to Venice for the first time, don't be stingy like me and take the waterbus. S. Stae stop is really close. Quiet area (except for the tourists, who apparently cannot think of not bellowing and hollering in front of people's homes) with many bars and restaurants. Kitchen is well equipped with all needed accessories. My only problem was that the flat was cold at night, due to the central heating turned off; but anyway, that was my problem. This was a nice getaway shelter for me, and I was sad to leave that Alicia moka pot behind.:).

Gianluca immediately proved to be a very kind person, he provided us with all the useful information, he waited for us at the station to personally take us to the property which is located about ten minutes walk from the station and the center and on departure he allowed us to deposit our luggage at the property so we could enjoy another morning in Venice before picking them up just before going to the station. The property is ideal for spending a few days in the city quietly and independently. We will certainly return to him even for the next visit to Venice.

Structure located in a strategic point of Venice. The most interesting places are reachable in a few minutes on foot. Also the train station and the vaporetto stop. Clean and welcoming, it boasts a bedroom, kitchenette, and spacious bathroom. Excellent value for money, especially compared to other structures and considering its location. Gianluca, the owner, is extremely helpful, hospitable, and friendly. I had a great time and felt so comfortable that I will always book here next time. If it wasn't clear yet... highly recommended!

Everything is small, but nice: room with air conditioning, double bed (we were given single sheets upon request), wardrobe and table, bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet, kitchenette with two burners, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster and two coffee machines (German and Italian). Plenty of towels (including dish towels), sufficient number of glasses, plates, cutlery, etc. \nBreakfast is self-made; Italian pastries, toast, jam, yogurt, and various juices are available and are replenished daily. \nThe landlord is extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice, stylish, modern apartment in a good location. Gianluca is an excellent host. He gave us a map with recommendations on what to visit, where to eat, how to reach the places we wanted to see, and he even printed tickets for us when we needed. We could leave our suitcases there after checking out.

I stayed at this property for 2 nights and it was very pleasant. Very convenient location to reach Piazza San Marco on foot in about 20 minutes, the Rialto Bridge in 10, the Fondamenta Nove where you can embark for Murano in 20. Clean and well-equipped room, bathroom and small kitchen, complete with everything. Breakfast with packaged products but the owner, Gianluca, checks every day that nothing is missing. The owner is also very kind and discreet. Definitely would return.

We could not ask for anything better! Gianluca was a wonderful host in every way - met us near the train station and walked us to the property (which has a perfect location and is clean and well-furnished), was always available for our questions (even when we got lost!), restocked the kitchen supplies, provided great food (yogurt, juice, croissants, coffee/tea/milk/and more), and made sure we were comfortable in every way. The property is equidistant from the Rialto and the train station and 5 min from the S. Stae vaporetta stop, in a quiet neighborhood with many bars, shops, and restaurants. We had a lovely stay at B&B Ca' Sant'Agostin by Gianluca. The apartment, very well situated, has everything you need for a short stay. If you're a light sleeper, you can hear people passing by, but fortunately the street was pretty quiet. Gianluca is a very kind, responsive and helpful host. He also provided the breakfast options we wanted. If there was anything to say, the pillows could be renewed for future guests. We felt at home and had a great time in Venice.

"Ca' Sant'Agostin" is a quiet place run by a very kind host. Gianluca was always available and could give me invaluable advice not only on routes (both walking and public transport) but also on his neighborhood because he is Venetian. The apartment is located in one of the last residential areas and is very quiet, easily reachable. It is furnished with a kitchenette equipped with everything that could be needed (stove, microwave, toaster, large fridge, etc.), TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, spacious and spotless room. The breakfast is rich and tailored to the guest's desires. All the monuments are close by, including the vaporetto. I was in Venice for two weeks for work, but thanks to Gianluca and his "Ca' Sant'Agostin" I was able to discover the Serenissima, which definitely deserves more than just a few days of visit! Absolutely recommended. Thank you Gianluca and see you next time!

The owner, Gianluca, is a courteous and helpful person. The property is in a beautiful location in the true heart of Venice. Excellent cleanliness. Essential breakfast with packaged products. Large and clean bathroom. Excellent air conditioning. Some technical problems with the television (correctly reported by the owner), but on vacation - especially in Venice - the television should remain off. Highly recommended property.

We stayed at Gianluca's place during our visit to the Biennale, over the Redentore weekend. We contacted him at the last minute and he was quick to respond and very helpful, despite our mishaps. Upon arrival, we were extremely happy because the space at our disposal was large, very clean, equipped with all the comforts and even optional. There was both air conditioning and a fan, in addition to a TV, fridge, and a well-equipped full kitchenette, so we had dinner in the room! The area is very convenient to the Grand Canal and the vaporetto, but you can also easily walk to the station, Piazzale Roma, and Rialto. The district is San Polo and the Campo is very close by, while maintaining a less busy position than the main street. We often stay in Venice, always changing accommodations, but we really liked this one and the offer has a truly great value for money. Gianluca lives upstairs and is a helpful, very discreet, and really kind host. We greatly appreciated the self-service breakfast solution that allowed us to have it calmly and stay in our pajamas. We will be back on the next occasion!

Everything was perfect. We were welcomed at the 'vaporetto'. For breakfast, everything was available at will: coffee, fruit juice, brioche. Our host was very attentive to details; towels were also changed very often. Upon our arrival, he gave us a map with the main points of interest and was always available for any information. The B&B is just like in the pictures: no bad surprises!

Gianluca was an awesome host! He provided the most options for breakfast of all the other places we stayed on our trip and he graciously restocked whatever we used up. He was super helpful with any questions we had and even made a great suggestion for a nearby restaurant and made us reservations one rainy evening that we didn’t want to go wandering aimlessly. The apartment is spacious and was perfect for our 4 night stay - wish we could’ve stayed longer. The kitchen was well equipped. The location is in a very quiet area but perfectly centrally located to reach anywhere on the island. Only a short walk to reach restaurants and a couple shops. My only complaint was there wasn’t a place near enough to run out to get coffee and pastry first thing in the morning- but it wasn’t really needed with all he provided. Overall I would definitely stay there again if I was ever fortunate enough to return to Venice.

This sparkling clean, well-appointed property is a perfect choice for either a short or longer stay in Venice. Our host, Gianluca, was attentive in providing for our needs, answering questions, and offering the ingredients necessary for a hearty breakfast each day. We appreciated the opportunity to have breakfast on our schedule in our room. The property is situated within walking distance of everything Venice has to offer including the vaporetto stops and the train station.

We enjoyed staying in this property very much. The location was great - quiet center. All the attractions are within walking distance, the water bus stop is a 3-minute walk. The owner is very friendly and helpful, speaks perfect English. I have been to Venice not for the first time, but this is the best place I have experienced.

My partner and I stayed at the B&B Ca' Sant'Agostin from 3rd to 6th July 2018. We highly recommend it to all couples looking to have a short vacation in this wonderful city. It's central but away from the chaos, it's welcoming, clean, well-stocked, and above all, we appreciated the management. The owner is there with helpful advice and directions, but always with great discretion.

The stay at the B&B Ca' Sant'Agostino was pleasant. It is located in a central position, without being in the most touristy area. It is a practical mini apartment, clean and adequately equipped. The manager is kind and helpful. The only limitation is being located in a maze of alleys and small squares where an inexperienced tourist may struggle to orient themselves. However, this is a minor flaw, compensated by the good value for money.
