Great B&B! In the old city of Monopoli with a beautiful rooftop terrace. The room was spacious, very clean and well-equipped. Highly recommend this B&B.

Nothing to complain about, I recommend. We had an excellent stay at La Porta Vecchia!

Excellent breakfast on the terrace, staff always helpful and friendly, and excellent cleanliness of the rooms. Strategic location in the historic city center and a short walk from the train station. Structure very close to the coves.

I found a structure completely different from what was described. The place described was different from the apartment we were assigned. The room had no view. Breakfast was a disaster. The description presented a fairytale experience with many products, but they were not actually in the structure, but offered at the bar with a voucher and a very limited breakfast with the choice of a single product between croissant or pasticciotto and a coffee, the rest at an additional cost. The room was small but nice. During the 3 nights of stay, no linen was ever changed, especially the bathroom linen, and therefore even the necessary items for a shower (shampoo, shower gel, etc.) were not provided.

Arriving in Monopoli and heading towards the seaside and the oldest area, you can already start to see the branching alleys of the historic center. Within this splendid area, almost perfectly located in the center, we can find the b&b La Porta Vecchia, through which it will be possible to spend a relaxing holiday. Located inside an alley that opens directly onto a main street of the historic center, through which you can go anywhere, it appears particularly elegant with a facade that encapsulates the intrinsic quality of the structure on which you can see the presence of a coat of arms of an ancient family. Inside, it is furnished in an ancient but balanced style in tones and colors. The room with the balcony is particularly bright, well furnished, and equipped with all the necessary services. The bathroom and room are particularly clean with decidedly delicate lines, but not too simple. The bed, particularly comfortable, allows for a peaceful rest and furthermore, the room, while remaining cool in itself, has an air conditioner. Exploring other areas of the structure, which for now remain unused due to the health emergency, it is possible to notice how there is attention to detail even in the common spaces, as for the breakfast area and even more for the little terrace where you can see the centrality of the b&b along with the beauty of the town and the structure itself. A warm greeting to Cosima who made us feel at home immediately.

Perfect place for a getaway in Monopoli. Cosima is of a rare kindness and very accommodating (I arrived at 2 am due to my flight delay and everything went well). Breakfast is taken in an idyllic setting and it is delicious. The room is spacious and perfectly clean with a typical decoration. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast where I had an excellent stay! Thank you Cosima for your warm welcome.

It's a flawless, I had excellent holidays, superb setting, very good homemade breakfast, more than warm welcome, and very nice room, I recommend :).

Struttura molto curata e caratteristica ideale per una coppia (mini appartamento "la casa del pescatore") I gestori molto disponibili, professionali e sempre a disposizione dell'ospite nel consigliare riguardo ad ogni esigenza, senza essere invadenti. Ottime le colazioni fatte dalle mani sapienti di Cosima, nella splendida e caratteristica terrazza. La posizione nel centro storico si è rivelata vincente, per la tranquillità del posto e per la vicinanza di numerosi locali e esercizi che al rientro dalle gite erano indispensabili. Ci auguriamo di tornare presto un caro saluto a Cosima e Luigi.

Ringrazio i proprietari della struttura per l'accoglienza e la gentilezza che ci ha riservato, è stato per noi un soggiorno breve ma di grande impatto coreografico per la location e tutto il resto grazie.

Abbiamo trascorso cinque splendidi giorni nell'incantevole cittadina di Monopoli, accolti dalla gentilezza e dalla cortesia della signora Cosima, il gestore del B&B. L'arredamento è di gusto, ispirato a un delicato stile provenzale dai tenui colori pastello. Il luogo è silenzioso e si riposa beatamente; la colazione è abbondante e ricca di prodotti fatti in casa come torte e marmellate. La signora Cosima è stata molto disponibile a fornirci indicazioni sui luoghi da visitare e sulle spiagge di Capitolo in cui godere dello splendido mare.
