Extremely convenient structure because it is close to the station, excellent for those who need to go to Venice. In particular, it has 2 free parking spaces (not owned but generally available), right next to the structure. In the worst case, there are numerous paid parking spaces at 80 cents per hour. Numerous restaurants and bars in the area, spoilt for choice. The owner was very nice and kind, he prepared and illustrated to us with a map in hand a list of things to see, where to go, where to eat and tips on how to save even on transport. He made himself available for every need at any time even after check-in for any requirement. The breakfast is plentiful, packaged snacks, rusks, jams, Nutella, cereals, barley, milk, coffee, herbal teas, fruit juices, etc. The structure and the furniture are a bit dated but everything is neat and clean. The only downside is the shared bathroom. It still went well for us because the other room was empty.

The stay at B&B Romantica Venezia was spectacular! My partner and I are very grateful to Giorgio who welcomed us with great kindness and explained many things about the city of Mestre and Venice. The breakfast is very abundant. We will definitely come back!

Accommodation with a very good location to reach Venice in 5 minutes. The apartment is very clean and has free parking area. Highly recommended.

From the moment we started our stay in this B&B, we felt welcome and comfortable. The place is really good, it is equipped with everything you may need and it is very clean. The attention to detail is superb. It may not look like your typical 5-star hotel, but I guarantee that we felt like we were in one. Like the apartment wasn't good enough, the owner is amazing. Everything he does for his guests doesn't go unnoticed. Our trip to Venice was definitely improved by his advice. I honestly think I couldn't have gone to a better B&B.

3 bedrooms, kitchen, shared bathroom. Basic furnishings. Very clean. Token breakfast items, but there if you are interested. \n\nThe host (Giorgio) is excellent. Although his English is poor, he knows what he needs to know. He spent over 20 minutes thoughtfully sharing his suggestions for Venice itinerary and local restaurants. These were very useful tips. He is a sincere, kind man who clearly cares about his visitors.

Great value for money. The accommodation is very well located - 5 minutes walk from the train station and then 10 minutes by train to Venice. Trains run regularly (you don't need to choose in advance which train to take; cost per trip: 1.45€). There are also some restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The landlord is very kind and provides a lot of information about Venice and tips for sightseeing and restaurants. The accommodation itself was very clean, especially the shared bathroom. There was a daily room service that made the beds. The air conditioning kept the room at a pleasant temperature even on hot days. Unfortunately, the apartment is extremely noisy, so it is advisable to bring earplugs. The price includes a small breakfast. Unfortunately, this only contained packaged products, as B&Bs are probably not allowed to provide an open breakfast. Nevertheless, we had a good time and can definitely recommend the accommodation!

We spent 2 nights at the very kind and friendly Mr. Giorgio who welcomed us with courtesy and professionalism, illustrating, map in hand, in great detail, a 2-day tour of beautiful Venice. The property is very close to Mestre station and after a 10-minute train ride we were already on the vaporetto heading to San Marco. We had a truly beautiful weekend.

Mr. Giorgio is truly a passionate manager of his work. He was very helpful and gave us valuable information on where to eat and how to get around Venice, providing us with a map and informational sheets.

During our stay we felt at home. The welcome from Mr. Giorgio is unparalleled. With his advice we managed to visit enchanting places and eat very well. The B&B Romantica Venezia is in a perfect location for those like us who want to move to Venice by public transport. Highly recommended.

I went to Venice to celebrate with my colleagues the 30th anniversary since my hiring in Venice on April 21, 1993. I had a great time at the B&B Romantica Venezia, the manager was very kind and helpful with all my information requests. For a first stay in Venice we were not disappointed. The accommodation was well located even if outside Venice (2 minutes walk from Mestre train station - very regular train departures with a journey time of 10 minutes for a fare of 1.45 euros one way). Spacious room for 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) with a slightly outdated decoration but very clean and with an excellent value for money. The most remarkable thing about this accommodation is our host: attentive, discreet, welcoming and very good advice (he spent more than an hour on our arrival explaining to us, with a map in hand, the points to see and the organization to have to optimize our short stay. We recommend this place.

Comfortable and welcoming structure. Courteous and helpful manager. Recommended for a visit to Venice.

What can I say? Giorgio was a fantastic host, easy to communicate with beforehand, and he shared many of his recommendations for things to see, restaurants to go to, etc when we arrived. The accommodation is just a short walk from the train station where there are frequent and very cheap trains to S. Lucia. Breakfast is self-service and there are cooking facilities if you need them. We'd also recommend the Soul Kitchen Cafe by the station if you want to eat breakfast out locally.

Giorgio was the perfect host, I wish I was a tourist who had never been to Venice to properly take advantage of all his helpful advice on what to see, how to move, where to eat without getting ripped off, etc... You can see he has a passion for what he does. Thank you!

Room of adequate size and very clean structure. The manager provided me with many useful tips for visiting Venice and I appreciated the availability to keep the luggage until the evening. It is close to the station, bars, and restaurants.

The structure is a bit dated (although I believe foreigners appreciate it, as it closely resembles what one imagines an Italian home to be like abroad) and the breakfast is a bit anonymous (more due to legislation than choice), but having said that, we can only speak well of it. The house is clean, has everything one needs and more, you have access to the kitchen, and the location makes you forget the regret of not being able to find a room in Venice at an affordable price: close to buses, the station (very frequent trains), supermarket, restaurants, etc. The area is multicultural and safe: even returning late at night, we never had anything to fear. The icing on the cake is the host, who is a wealth of information that I highly recommend taking into account because it helps avoid much of the stress that a visit to a city like Venice could create (I won't say more, so it's just us, Giorgio's guests, who know the best tips). In short, a positive experience all around, including the price.

The room is a bit outdated but honestly you can go there with your eyes closed, impeccable cleanliness, impeccable welcome by Giorgio whose kindness, availability, and support are there to make your stay very pleasant. Access to Venice is very easy (15/20 min max) with plenty of choices between train or bus. Ideal location, warm welcome, and unbeatable value for money for Venice. Our stay at 'B&B Romantica Venezia' was very pleasant, we had everything in the apartment and could ask the owner any doubts or problems literally at any time of the day, which provides great attention to guests. The apartment was spotless, that is, every day a check was made of everything, both rooms and the bathroom and kitchen which we could use freely (as long as we didn't disturb other guests). In addition to that, upon arrival they provided us with a tourist map of the most essential places, as well as tips on where to eat or how to use public transport. Highly recommended!

Excellent! Giorgio is totally devoted to his residents, he is simply fantastic and exceptional. We will come back as long as Venice remains Venice and Giorgio is there. Long live Giorgio and his house of different nationalities and exchanges.

The place is a little oldish but very charming. The host is extremely nice and helpful with everything, a perfect location for people wanting to visit Venice but not paying the Venice-prices and/or to get out of the high-density zone for the nights and find some relief in a "normal" city surrounding. Mestre has its own, rough charm, too, by the way.

We had a great time, clean place, close to the train station, and above all the manager Giorgio, very helpful and very attentive to people's needs, very good.

The host was the most helpful person I have come across while traveling. He allowed us to leave our luggage for an extra day after our stay and gave us the keys to his apartment so we could retrieve the luggage whenever we wanted. The apartment is really nice and clean, you will find almost everything in it to make your travel easier. The host really made our Venice trip more convenient, so we could make the most out of our days in Venice.

The location is great, 400 meters from the train station. The accommodation itself is very clean and wonderfully equipped. George (owner) is a very courteous and attentive person. The only thing that bothered us a bit was the lack of a place to store bikes. We had to carry our heavy e-bikes to the second floor.

The property is very comfortable, very close to Mestre station. It is very easy to reach Venice from the station with a train every 10 minutes. We were two during Carnival and we had a great time. In addition, we were well advised by the owner on everything: restaurants, places to visit, means of transport, curiosities about Venice. Really highly recommended. Romantica Venezia is really a nice place! Georgio is a very friendly and supportive host. The apartment is clean and the kitchen offers everything required to prepare your own meals if needed. Realmente fue un gusto haber conocido a Giorgio, quien nos hizo sentir su B&B como nuestra casa, su charla de bienvenida nos brindó todos los datos necesarios para manejarnos sin problemas en Venecia, sitios de interés, servicio de transporte, comedores en Mestre y Venecia. El lugar es sencillo y muy cómodo, totalmente equipado. Posibilidad de cocinar si se desea y de poder prepararse una infusión, tomar algo fresco o utilizar los comestibles que provee gentilmente en cualquier momento. Realmente fue una excelente decisión. Gracias por todo Giorgio, espero poder volver algún día!

First of all, Giorgio made us feel very welcomed. He gave us some useful advise on where to go in and around Mestre. The B&B was in the perfect location for us too (near the train station and town centre) and we felt as though it was home. It was a lovely place to stay in. Thank you Giorgio!

Il B&B romantica Venezia si trova in una posizione molto comoda, vicino alla stazione e ad alcune utili fermate dell'autobus. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile e ha dato indicazione su cosa visitare a Mestre, come raggiungere Venezia e dove mangiare. La casa è molto pulita e confortevole.

Tutto OK. Appartamento old fashion ma tenuto bene e molto pulito. Il gestore é gentilissimo. Essendo il B&B a meno di 3 min. dalla stazione si é a Venezia in un quarto d'ora. Se cercate il lusso andate altrove, se cercate un posto tranquillo e pulito per dormire e far colazione, fa al caso vostro.

Il bagno in condivisa con altre 7 persone è stato l' unico neo. Sarebbe necessario un altro bagno quando la struttura è al completo. Per il resto ci siamo trovati benissimo.

Per me è stata una bella esperienza al B&B Romantica Venezia di Giorgio: siamo state accolte veramente bene e con serietà, non solo ci ha dato le chiavi e le nozioni base del funzionamento del B&B (come mi era già successo in altri posti d'Europa), ma ci ha anche suggerito come muoverci, cosa evitare e come spendere al meglio la nostra giornata a Venezia. Inoltre, era sempre disponibile, via messaggi e chiamate, a rispondere ad ogni nostro dubbio. La camera era pulita, spaziosa (la tripla), calda e l'ho sempre ritrovata in ordine impeccabile; la convivenza con gli altri inquilini non è stata per niente spiacevole, contando che si condividevano bagno e cucina. Il bagno l'ho sempre trovato pulito e in ordine; l'unico "inconveniente" forse sono i turni in bagno, ma non è stato un problema così rilevante alla fine. Consiglio davvero questo posto.

Très bien pour aller à Venise par les transports en commun. Excellent accueil par le propriétaire. A recommander et lde plus e restaurant voisin "Da Bepi Venesian" vaut le détour.

Ottima posizione, bus a 200 metri e treno 500. Gestore molto disponibile anche sugli imprevisti, si vede che ci tiene. La cucina è comoda e permette libertà di soluzioni. Unico neo il bagno unico (anche se sempre pulito) per 3 stanze che costringe a turni. Noi fortunatamente abbiamo trovato ospiti con i quali non ci sono stati problemi. lo consiglio.

La locazione della struttura è ottima per chi vuole soggiornare come turista, la fermata del pullman è sottocasa, la stazione a 10 minuti a piedi, vicinissima al centro di mestre, la signora (Marina) che gestisce il B&B è molto gentile e disponibile, e i suoi consigli su quando e come visitare sono ottimi, nel complesso è stata un'ottima esperienza. Ne approfittiamo per ringraziare quindi Marina.

Una sola annotazione: la porta del bagno cigola e di notte può dare fastidio.

La posizione è ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione. La struttura è pulitissima e il bagno, seppur in comune, è grande e fornito dei prodotti necessari per l’igiene della persona. C’è anche la lavatrice! Si può usufruire della cucina per prepararsi pranzi o cene. Noi ad esempio abbiamo pranzato in casa, risparmiando. Il gestore è disponibilissimo e gentile e vi darà tante informazioni per muovervi e per vivere Venezia. Noi siamo stati bene e mi sento di consigliarlo.

Casa ben organizzata dove gli ospiti si sentono a loro agio, merito delle attenzioni del gestore. Casa locata in vicinanza della stazione, base ideale per visitare Venezia e dintorni.

Nonostante sia stato un soggiorno brevissimo, mi sono trovato veramente bene. Il proprietario è come me lo immaginavo, una persona veramente affabile ed appassionata.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato pienamente soddisfatto in base alle nostre esigenze ma anche in base alle nostre idee di soggiorno, purtroppo è stato breve, ma nel periodo di capodanno quindi il rapporto qualità\prezzo e comodità nella posizione e nei servizi nelle vicinanze è stato ottimo. Giorgio è una persona splendida che ti trasmette la sua passione implicità nella sua attività. Non sapremmo che dire di più perché il suo sito o blog è perfettamente completo e personalmente leggere ciò che lui descrive e ritrovarselo perfettamente in ciò che è presente nella struttura è molto importante in questi tempi dove i contatti avvengono per mail o tramite siti. Insomma noi ritorneremo a trovarlo presto perché ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio, a casa. Consigliatissimo!!
