Very central B&B, clean, comfortable mattress, super quiet room, simple but nice. I also dined at the structure's restaurant and it was more than excellent, quality food, prepared with care and attention using excellent raw materials, excellent value for money and attention to dietary issues. The owners made us feel at home with courtesy, kindness, and availability. A place to come back to because it becomes a habit.

We had a really good time at this property. Excellent quality/price ratio and located just a stone's throw from the Rialto Bridge. Recommended for Venetian stays if you don't want to spend a fortune, having at your disposal a spacious room with a clean bathroom and a plentiful breakfast.

Long hair found on the towel, hairs in the bed, badly made bed with a very poorly tucked bedspread, air conditioner not usable because noisy like a tractor (sleepless night due to heat), and last but not least, non-functioning hairdryer! To be avoided.

We spent 4 wonderful days. The staff was super welcoming and we felt very comfortable. The location is great for exploring the city well. I will definitely recommend it and we will also come back. Thank you very much from the heart.

We stayed for three days in the room above the Taverna San Lio restaurant. The managers are welcoming, helpful, and very kind, the room is very clean, the restaurant offers excellent dishes at a price absolutely adequate to the quality of the proposals. Overall, the quality/price ratio is excellent and, as an added value, we appreciated the flexibility shown towards check-in and check-out times. The young lady who welcomed us provided us, competently, with valuable information on what to visit in Venice that is truly appreciable. We will definitely return as soon as possible.

Triple room (we were 2 adults and 1 6-year-old girl) very bright and spacious, the bathroom with a comfortable shower box was also excellent. The fridge was useful to keep drinks cool.\n\nThe location and the value for money in the heart of Venice are truly the strengths of this B&B, 5 minutes from Rialto and 10 minutes from San Marco at a fair price! Also the vaporetto stops are close and only 2 stops from the train station for those like us who choose the train to get to Venice. Breakfast is served from 9.00 in the restaurant below (maybe a bit late for early risers but it was perfect for us!) breakfast only sweet with cakes and jam sandwiches. Also tried the restaurant for dinner, good and with prices in line with Venice. Very convenient in the evening after a whole day of walking to be able to arrive at the hotel and go down just one floor to have dinner without having to leave again or look for a place! If we return to Venice, we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful structure in the city center just a few minutes from Rialto and 10 minutes from Piazza San Marco. Spacious quadruple room and nice bathroom. Abundant breakfast in the restaurant below. Very kind staff.

I stayed with my family at Taverna San Lio in mid-April. Extremely central location. Mrs. Rossella and all the staff were very kind. The room, despite having a new bathroom, was furnished in a basic way and the beds, especially, were old and uncomfortable. A special mention to the chef at Taverna San Lio, who managed to meet the needs of my celiac husband, serving us excellent dishes, and to the very competent waiter. Worth going back.

The room is nice and large, accessed directly from the street via a private entrance. Security is a bit lax as we found the other guests left the front door open on one occasion, despite plenty of signs saying to shut the door. There is another locked door internally before the room which also has a lock on it. Not sure what they can do to improve the door closing, maybe an automatic door closure fitting? The room was very warm, the air conditioning was not set up to work. Woke up dried out. Couldn't really leave the windows open during sleep due to random chatter and noise that goes on most of the night. Not loud but enough to disturb - maybe I'm a light sleeper. All in all a pretty good place to stay, would recommend.

Quiet room even though on a busy street, daily cleaning with towel change, excellent restaurant both in terms of quality and service, special appreciation for chef Stefano.\n\nTo return as soon as possible.

I went back to Taverna San Lio and once again I had a great time. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the location is strategic. The breakfast is good. I find the restaurant (where breakfast is also served) very pleasant, the cuisine is well taken care of and the staff is very kind.
