Being guests in a typical Venetian house and feeling part of Mrs. Maria's family was a unique experience. When you open the gate of the delightful entrance courtyard, it feels like coming back home. The landlady immediately puts the guest at ease and provides excellent advice. Breakfast in the beautiful living room is abundant and varied, with homemade bread and pastries. B&B La Madonetta will be a fixed point for our future stays in Venice!

My daughters and I stayed at the B&B La Madonetta for two days. It is an understatement to call it a bed and breakfast: it really feels like home. You get there by leaving behind the way to Rialto and turning into a small alley. You arrive at an iron gate and from there to a small secret garden, winter cradle - among other things - of a rose garden and the newly arrived red maple. The rooms are spacious, warm, welcoming, and silent, even though as you turn the corner, you find yourself in the midst of the liveliness of people, local places, and enticing scents that lead to Rialto first and San Marco later. The location of this house is enviable, convenient for everything. I didn't meet Mrs. Maria, but she followed us discreetly from a distance and was punctual in responding to our questions. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! In fact, if I were to return to Venice, I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

I stayed in this bnb during the Carnival period. The apartment is located in the San Polo district, lively but also quiet and safe. It is a stone's throw from the Rialto Bridge, so very convenient for walking around Venice without taking public transport. I stayed in a beautiful, spacious and bright double room, with an external private bathroom that was also spacious and very clean. Mrs. Maria prepared breakfast every day at the time the guest desired, with fresh bread, milk, tea, coffee, jams, yogurt, and sometimes with delicious homemade cakes. She is a discreet, kind person who is always attentive to any needs. Everyone has their own keys so they can enter and exit at any time. I highly recommend this bnb; I felt pampered and at home. Surely, if I come back to Venice to sleep, I would like to come back here.

María is very loving. The house and the rooms are spectacular. I recommend it 100%.

Apartment in a typical ancient palace in Venice, overlooking the lagoon, central and quiet location just steps from the vaporetto stop. Beautiful room, excellent cleanliness, breakfast with silver cutlery in a beautiful dining room, atmosphere of other times. The only flaw is that the private bathroom is in the corridor, but I would return. I recommend it, excellent value for money!

This B&B La Madonetta consists of a beautiful Venetian apartment with spacious and bright guest rooms, and an excellent hostess. Excellent and abundant breakfast, impeccable services.

We really liked Maria's accommodation and I can recommend it without reservation. We stayed in her triple room with an attached bathroom. The double bed is very comfortable and the extra bed is slightly shorter and harder. It's fantastic to reside in the heart of San Marco with a real and very friendly Venetian. Maria's B&B is quietly located on a side street on the 2nd floor. From there, all the sights are within walking distance or the vaporetto stop is just around the corner. The breakfast is very rich, varied, and delicious and was served to us in the beautiful living room. The WiFi works perfectly. We were given a key and could come and go at any time. Thank you dear Maria for an unforgettable weekend in beautiful Venice!

Very happy about our staying at Maria's B&B La Madonetta. \nIdeally located, near Rialto, not far from Campo San Margherita. \nThe breakfast, home-cooked, was very good and generous.

The room was excellent, but without a TV which was not important to me. If I have to find a negative aspect, I have to say that the bathroom is outside the room and not very close, you have to cross the corridor to get there, but very clean and spacious. For me it's worth going back because the location is very good and the value for money is unbeatable.

Pleasant stay, great breakfast, although some salty elements could have been added. Due to a misunderstanding regarding the availability of the room we booked, the owner offered us a complimentary stay, providing us with a decent and clean accommodation nonetheless. The structure itself is an apartment, so a rather informal environment, which suited us perfectly, but I would not recommend it for people seeking absolute privacy. The location turned out to be the real highlight, being practically close to the Rialto vaporetto and in general to all major attractions.

In a Venetian house, with a very kind and welcoming owner. The location is convenient, the stay is pleasant and quiet.

Typical Venetian structure overlooking one of the many lagoon canals, the manager is a lovely person and makes you feel at ease. The room is spacious with an ensuite bathroom and has all the accessories for a comfortable overnight stay. Kitchen available for breakfast, which is abundant and varied, living room with TV and music distribution. Interesting quality-price ratio.

B&B La Madonetta discovered by chance, excellent, very central, just a few steps from Rialto. Mrs. Maria, the owner, is a cordial and very welcoming person. Very large room with private bathroom, all very clean. Also, the breakfast is very good and prepared on the spot. What can I say: highly recommended to come back soon!

This bed and breakfast is exceptional, the charming owner Maria is very helpful and caring. Our room was large, comfortable and very well equipped. We felt safe from the moment we arrived. This bed and breakfast is well located, just minutes from a vaporetto stop and the Rialto Bridge. The breakfasts are excellent and varied, there is something for everyone. We stayed at the Studio de Miracoli and loved it (again, we stayed there 2 years ago). It is close to everything but in a tiny, quiet calle. Thank you Francesca for a wonderful stay in Venice.

If you want an authentic experience in Venice, consider staying here! Maria was the perfect hostess, the location is very close to Ponte di Rialto, and the accommodations were very nice.

Great location, just a few minutes from the Rialto Bridge, strategic for touring the city center. The San Polo district is quiet and interesting. The house is very cozy like its owner, Mrs. Maria. The breakfast with homemade pie and bread is delicious. We really enjoyed our stay, we recommend it. Alessandra and Miriam.

Absolutely magnificent, close to the sights. The B&B hostess is very nice and extremely helpful. If you need anything at all she will help.

La mejor casera de Venecia ! Pase dos noches con mi pareja en casa de Maria y desde que llegamos, ella ya estaba diciendo cosas para ver y hacer. La ubicación de la casa es perfecta y la casa está de maravilla. Recomendable 100% !

We stayed in this wonderful B&B for 1 day during the Venice carnival. The location is perfect and just a couple of minutes away from the all the important places. The apartment is clean and well furnished and the area is very peaceful. Maria, our host, was extremely helpful and very sweet who would always greet us with a warm smile. I would definitely stay here again!

Edificio tipico veneziano, sembra proprio di sentirsi a casa, le finestre della mia camera affacciavano sul canale, purtroppo non era stagione per incantarsi a guardare le barche che passavano. Unica pecca che il gestore abita nell'appartamento per cui per come sono fatta io, in alcuni momenti ero preoccupata di disturbare.

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Ich habe mich von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt. Signora Maria ist sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist herzlich und vertrauensvoll. Das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll zubereitet und reichhaltig. Die Lage ist perfekt. Ich werde auf jeden Fall zurückkommen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Il soggiorno a Venezia è stato reso speciale anche dall'alloggio. La casa curata nei dettagli, tipica veneziana. Camera spaziosa, pulita e con affaccio sulla laguna. Bellissimo svegliarsi al mattino e sentire le gondole che passano sotto la finestra. La colazione ottima preparata dalla Signora Maria con molta cura. Lo consiglierei senza alcun dubbio.

Posizione centralissima. 20 minuti a piedi puoi raggiungere tutti i siti di interesse storico-artistico. Appartamento ben tenuto e colazione non eccessiva con dolce e salato, frutta e un buonissimo pane fatto in casa. La signora Maria è stata gentilissima e cordiale. Ci ha fatto sentire come a casa sua dandoci piena libertà e accontentandoci in ogni cosa.

Signorile casa veneziana, curata nei dettagli da una padrona di casa attenta e meticolosa. La stanza tripla che ci è stata data era molto spaziosa: il letto matrimoniale era king size e vi abbiamo dormito comodamente in tre (due adulti e una bambina di 2 anni); il letto aggiunto era una brandina molto comoda. Il bagno, non in camera ma solo a noi riservato, era grande e pulito. A colazione abbiamo trovato torta e pane fatto in casa, marmellate buonissime, croissant mignon riscaldati e una tavola apparecchiata con cura ed eleganza. Il B&B dista 5/10 minuti a piedi da Rialto e pochissimo dalla fermata San Silvestro del vaporetto sul Canal Grande. Lo sceglierei sicuramente se dovessi tornare a Venezia.

I would stay here again! Beautiful apartment, extremely well located. Maria is a lovely host. I had a single room which was bright and airy. I shared the bathroom with Maria and that was fine, as well. The only major drawback is actually finding the flat. There are no signs saying that this is a B&B, nothing on the gate or the door to her flat. It is like staying in a private home, which is lovely and once you find it, its easy enough to wander about.

Delicious breakfast! Initially, it was really difficult to find the property. Maria tried to help us and actually sat waiting for us is a piazza for 1 1/2 hours. But, once we got our bearings it was easy to navigate around Venice.

The friendly family atmosphere, good location between the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. Good housing at a reasonable price.

Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dal ponte di Rialto e comodo con il Vaporetto. Bell'appartamento, pulizia molto buona e la notte nessun rumore. La padrona di casa molto seria e disponibile. Ci torneremo sicuramente (coppia 40enne).
