A reference B&B: a warm welcome in a well-located and quiet palace in the center of Sulmona. A host always present to bring conviviality, especially during a good and abundant breakfast where guests share the table. An excellent memory.

We liked this property because of its location, the very nice hosts you get to talk to, and the property itself (old, but in a good condition). We felt very welcome here. It is good for others to know that there is an elevator, but you have to walk the last stairs.

If you want to feel like you are back in old Italy, this is for you. The building is beautiful, and you will be right in the heart of town. Steps away from the most beautiful historic monuments, you can eat, shop, or tour all the incredible buildings. We went skiing at Alto Sangro, and this was the perfect location. Also, we are from America and did not realize that you cannot drive into the center of town. If you have a car, make sure you check on parking options. Oscar, the wonderful host, walked us down to the location of our car to see if it was OK. It was not, so he directed us to a place where we could park without getting into trouble. Fantastic hospitality!

Very beautiful and comfortable room. The only problem was the impossibility of sleeping due to the noise, as the room is very central and close to the "Movida" of Sulmona. The manager had left the skylight with a small opening, but it was impossible to close it because it required a key. The noise was really unbearable, with a lot of noise until 5 in the morning. Then, from 5:45 to 6:00, street cleaning started until around 8:00. So you can imagine, a real shame because the room is really comfortable (except for this mishap) and Sulmona is still a town worth seeing.

All great. Oscar's reception and attention was professional and at the same time very friendly and warm. The beds were comfortable, there is a large bathroom where everything works. Great location in the historic area.

Everything as expected, centrally located, very well-maintained and welcoming property, no issues, friendly and attentive manager.

My stay at La Dimora was great! Oscar went out of his way to make sure I had everything that I needed. He helped me rent a car, gave restaurant recommendations, and was very accommodating. I also enjoyed talking to him and his mother at breakfast! The location and the rooms are fantastic. I hope to be back soon! Grazie mille!

Beautiful structure, clean and well-kept, in the heart of the historic center. Very spacious room (even for 4 people) with a view of the cathedral. Impeccable cleanliness and helpful, friendly, and present manager.

Oscar and his lovely mother are excellent hosts! We felt very welcomed and they both went the extra mile to make us feel special. The rooms are lovely, comfortable beds and many amenities. We hope to return to Sulmona in the near future and we will definitely stay at La Dimora again! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great location to visit the city on foot and an excellent starting point for exploring the surroundings. Comfortable and welcoming room. Very helpful host. I highly recommend.

Everything perfect. We had a great time. Spacious and very clean room. The only downside is the breakfast, but not the fault of the manager, served in a nice room. Too bad that as soon as you wake up, you have to endure and share with poorly educated people.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at La Dimora. Oscar's warmth made us feel very welcomed.\n\nHe gave us really good advice on activities to do and restaurants to try. We were lucky enough to have the new bedroom, which was large, with a cute balcony and a view of the mountains. Breakfast was very good with everything we needed.\n\nI hope we go back to Sulmona one day and if we do, we will definitely go back to La Dimora. See you again, Oscar!

We could not say enough about this Bed and Breakfast. Its location is perfect if you are looking to be right in the center of one of the most beautiful cities in the Abruzzo region, Sulmona. Owner, Oscar and his mother, Maria were absolutely lovely to be around. I truly felt like I was at home. Their genuine hospitality and care for their guests is remarkable. We are so grateful that they were able to change rooms for my mother when we arrived, to accommodate her needs (even though we had already booked another room but when we arrived we had not realized the stairs would be an issue for my mother). The variety at breakfast, cleanliness and overall attention to detail are all what make La Dimora an absolute must for your stay. Oscar made sure we were happy, and we absolutely were!

Hello, we stayed one night. The room was recently updated and was terrific. Comfortable bed. Clean and nice bathroom with firm hot water. Location cannot be surpassed. Right on Main Street and we easily found on street parking nearby. Sulmona is beautiful town with a lot of historical churches and a Roman aqueduct. A great base to see Scanno and Abruzzi region.

Great host, I will be happy to return as the location and facilities were excellent. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Oscar and his mother are two wonderful and helpful people. The welcome at the 'La Dimora' was excellent, as was our stay. I recommend this B&B for its central location.

We couldn't ask for more! Excellent both the manager's availability and the room accommodation.

We stayed one night at this new, clean and centrally located property: we were greeted by the very kind owner, a young and very helpful guy, who didn't let us miss anything. Moreover, Sulmona is a beautiful town and the central location allowed us to visit it comfortably. Perfect stay I would say!

I was in Sulmona to meet some friends and I stayed at La Dimora. I recommend this Bed and Breakfast, the cleanliness, the welcome, the breakfast, and the owner's availability are excellent. If I return to Sulmona, I will come back here.

La Dimora has a truly central location. It is located on Corso Ovidio in Sulmona, where there is a pedestrian area full of shops. Room Sofia, where I stayed for the weekend, was a mix of simplicity, attention to detail, and a dive into the past. Some of the furniture is antique, obviously renovated. The room was equipped with all comforts, even shampoo and shower gel in the shower. The Italian breakfast was plentiful with some local Abruzzo products. The owner was helpful, giving me all the tips about the city: what to see and where to eat.

Availability and love for their work make this B&B a welcoming and peaceful place to stay.

We found ourselves very well, the manager was very kind and the breakfast left us satisfied. The place is centrally located and easily reachable even by parking outside the center.

Excellent structure located in the historic center of Sulmona, welcoming and clean rooms equipped with every comfort, management specialized in hospitality and in providing all the information needed for the stay. A merit point also for the excellent and abundant breakfast. We will return and highly recommend it.
