The Cot is a charming, large apartment on the 2nd story (with elevator) of an 18th-century building one block away from the Castello Ursino. Every room is decorated in a fun shabby-chic/antique style and the beds are comfortable with crisp linens. Quiet air conditioning if needed. Our host Nini is absolutely charming; I felt as though I was visiting my cousin. He prepared for us the most delicious and copious breakfast. He was helpful with suggestions and directions to restaurants and sites to visit. The apartment is within walking distance of all the sights: the Duomo, the fish market, the Benedictine Monastery of San Nicolò and Via Etnea. I would love to stay here again. ✨Nicole from Sarasota.

Perfect Beb for Catania, central, clean and super welcoming. Ninni is a true host, very helpful in providing all kinds of information and advice! Great also for families with small children (potty, games, crib). We had a good time!

Great location for exploring the centre of Catania on foot. Very friendly and flexible host. Only downside: the BnB is next to a very busy road (not dangerous, but lots of traffic) so it is very noisy during the night, especially during the weekend.

Best welcome ever! Charming place with flea market and antique spirit. Just take your earplugs in case your room is on the street side, because the neighborhood is lively, with nice bars and authentic restaurants. I have also to mention the cute and delicious breakfast. We will come back!

We had a lovely stay! Ninni & Cristina are wonderful hosts. Easy to communicate with in English from before the stay all the way through. We had a lot of fun chatting with Ninni over breakfast, which was delicious and plentiful. Our bedroom was very large and comfortable and we had access to a semi-private sitting area outside the bedroom as well. Eccentric and interesting design throughout the entire property! Just remember to bring earplugs as it is a well-located apartment in a busy part of town!

We stayed at the accommodation from October 1 to October 4, 2024, and we were very impressed by the helpfulness and friendly demeanor of the manager Ninni. After arriving by bicycle, the location near the center of Catania was ideal for us. Thank you very much, and we will gladly return.

What a wonderful place made by fairy friendly hosts that give you a feeling of being home abroad. Will definitely come back! Thank you Ninni and Christina! And by the way, stunning view of the Etna.

Lovely B&B within walking distance of the many sights, shops, fish market and bus station. The train station was a little further away but walkable. The hosts were very welcoming. A great breakfast each morning.

We enjoyed La Cot very much. The rooms are full of character. The host is the best! Ps: take earplugs for the Italian drivers...
