We had a fantastic stay at Palazzo Sant'Alfano. Lovely room with a quirky art theme and a fabulous balcony overlooking the main square in Catania, lively in the evening with bars underneath. Our host Chiara was lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Perfect accommodation for a small group of friends,central location,rich breakfast,superb host.

Very nice place to stay: clean, comfortable and pretty. Super central (and yes, that’s why it can be noisy, but as others mentioned too: earplugs are provided). The host is super friendly and very nice. Thanks for taking care of our very early breakfast!

The room and the location are excellent, the entrance is not very nice, you access through a courtyard and there are stairs that have no light. At breakfast, there was no replenishment of supplies, in the room service, they did not change the towels for three days and supplies were not replenished. Lastly, there was a lot of noise until dawn in the local establishments on the ground floor, although the host was very kind.

We were welcomed warmly. The key pickup was easy. The room is spacious and bright. The A/C worked well. The owner was very kind. The only downside was the music during the night in the square.

Although the access to the portal is a bit dirty, the establishment is very welcoming and clean. The views of the square are very nice and the balcony is ideal for having a beer while watching the environment, which at night turns into loud music until midnight or one o'clock. But it wasn't a big problem either, they even provide earplugs. Very close there is a paid parking where you can leave the car.

Everything is fine. The property is in an excellent location. The owner is kind and helped us plan our vacation better.

B&B in a very central location, convenient for visiting Catania and using the services. Good breakfast in the morning; managers are present and helpful. Very noisy at night due to the presence of the kitchens of a restaurant below. Earplugs are provided.

The structure is very central, in a pedestrian area near the cathedral. The room is beautiful, large and equipped with all comforts. In the bathroom, I also found with pleasure a makeup remover and a moisturizer. There is also a nice little terrace overlooking the University square. Chiara, the person who welcomed us, was also very kind and caring. But unfortunately, the major drawback, at least for the rooms that overlook the square, is that right under the windows there is a bar that plays very loud music until late at night, and even with the windows closed and earplugs (left for us on the bedside table), it is impossible to sleep! This certainly ruined our vacation, and that's why I gave 5 to the location. If you want to stay here, ask for the rooms at the back.
