I enjoyed a wonderful holiday based at the Torre Ducale dimora storica - a combination of both the exceptional accommodation and the wonderful hospitality exhibited by Signora Maria Eliana. As an architect, I found the attention to design detail exceptional in the tower (very generously proportioned rooms with hand-cast tiled bathrooms, hand-welded metal fabricated details, and superior fittings throughout) which towers above the 17th-century Palazzo facing onto the Piazza Ducale - itself towering above the historical center of the city. The views from the windows opening up onto the piazza were therefore spectacular, with great views also across the harbor. Throughout, there was a loving attention to detail. Signora Maria Eliana, an artist specializing in Ligurian glass casting, was a wonderful hostess, very generous with her time, extremely helpful in providing information about Genoa, and going out of her way to make my stay such a memorable one.

Great location to explore the historical center on foot. Very helpful owner. A few stairs to climb, all good for health.

We stayed only one night but the accommodation reserved for us surprised us for its originality and cleanliness. The fact of having so many stairs is repaid by the atmosphere of the place and its brilliant management by Mrs. Eliana, who with her artist's touch has made everything very much appreciated. Genoa forever! Even though in the center you are not disturbed by city noises.

The room is nice. The bathroom is small but clean. The location is great, but parking is a disaster. The nearby one is very expensive. The breakfast compared to other Bed and Breakfast is really meager. A small carton of warm fruit juice and empty packaged croissants. I know that Bed and Breakfast cannot handle food, but there are many packaged options that could improve it.

This structure is a true gem. Located in a sixteenth-century tower, you can enjoy a unique atmosphere and view of the city! The rooms are large, ventilated, very romantic and welcoming, and the atmosphere created by the many windows and the view is truly exciting. The management is impeccable. The owner was truly kind, helpful, and immensely friendly. It was a real pleasure. The "packaged" breakfast consists of the possibility to make tea, coffee, or hot chamomile, and there are also juices and packaged pastries available. I recommend this structure for anyone wishing to stay in Genoa for a romantic weekend, truly relaxing. It absolutely deserves it! Rating, 110 and praise.

Prestigious historical structure, very well maintained, welcoming and fascinating. Unique, well-kept, clean, spacious and pleasant rooms to live in. Convenient to services and for visiting the city. The owner is very helpful and kind. Privacy and sleep quality are excellent. Truly a magical place with a wonderful panoramic view. Attention: there is no elevator. Packaged breakfast (espresso coffee machine in the room).
