Struttura in ottima posizione per arrivare a Firenze. In 5 minuti a piedi si arriva alla stazione di Lastra A Signa e con pochi spiccioli si può prendere un treno regionale veloce per Firenze. Il b&b è a conduzione familiare, il Signor Alberto è stato veramente molto gentile con noi. Ci siamo trovati bene. Nulla da dire. Camera spaziosa, letto molto comodo, ambiente confortevole.

Questo Bed and Breakfast sorge sulla piazza IV novembre a Lastra a Signa, una piccola cittadella situata a sud-ovest di Firenze, e si trova in una posizione strategica: intorno ad esso risiede una gelateria, una cartoleria/tabacchi, un kebab, un bar, una gelateria e altro ancora. Tutto questo scendendo le scale e facendo una decina di passi. A circa 200 mt vi è una stazione Trenitalia: è possibile prendere il treno per Firenze o per Pisa. Per Firenze, il biglietto del treno ha un costo irrisorio (poco meno di tre euro) e in circa venti minuti si arriva alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella (oppure Firenze Rifredi). Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è soddisfacente. I gestori sono disponibili e gentili, il papà di Mara è un esperto del posto e sa indirizzare al meglio i suoi ospiti. Il wifi è di buona qualità. La pulizia è abbastanza soddisfacente. Unica nota stonata, il sistema idraulico: l'acqua calda dura pochissimo. Per il resto nulla da dire; Sicuramente un punto di riferimento per il futuro. Mi è piaciuto molto il posto zona tranquilla, il signor Alberto una persona gentillissima anche sua figlia Mara gentillissima, posto tranquillo, struttura a modo.

Camera graziosissima, molto pulita, il bagno è in comune me è grande e pulito. Posizione tranquilla in un paesino delizioso, Firenze è raggiungibile velocemente con 10 minuti di macchina e 20 minuti di tramvia. Il gestore è gentilissimo, disponibilissimo e cordiale. Un ottimo punto di appoggio per chi vuole scoprire la bellezza di Firenze.

Struttura accogliente, pulita (sia le stanze che gli spazi comuni) e silenziosa. Il signor Alberto è un uomo cortese, preciso e disponibile. La posizione centrale nella graziosa piazza della città mi ha permesso di visitarla agevolmente a piedi e quindi di spostarmi in auto verso Firenze in pochissimo tempo.

This B&B is located only 2 train stops away from central Florence, a train that runs every hour, from 6am till about 10pm. The price and location were great. The house is located in Lastra a Signa, an ancient village surrounded by an almost intact wall that dates back before the 12th century. Just outside the front door of the well-maintained palazzo are cafés and bars, green grocers and shops. The adjacent piazzetta is located in the shadow of Medieval stone tower - very scenic place! Do yourself a favor -- save some time to stroll around this village and sample its food and historic scenery. The village is about a 4-5 minute walk up a slight slope from the train station, which is modern, well-lit and wheel chair accessible. The owners have a listed of (with walking distance) local dining spots, so ask. We were greeted by Alberto, the owner's father, who graciously picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, so we wouldn't need to lug our bags by hand. Alberto speaks English and is charming and warm and friendly. The hallways, kitchen and rooms are filled with antique wooden furniture, including a beautifully-preserved upright grand piano in the hallway, which is lined with tasteful paintings and framed, indigenous handcrafts, etc. There's a mix of rustic country furniture in the well-equipped kitchen and throughout the house. The shower was new and modern, the shared bathroom frequently cleaned and airy. The bed as large and comfortable, and the wooden wardrobes ample, while not showy or ostentatious. There was a mini-fridge stocked with chilled mineral water waiting for us. Alberto left breakfast voucher cards that we redeemed for lovely fresh croissants and steamy cappuccinos at the nearby Tango bar. We felt safe and secure and pampered, including the set of clean cotton matching dressing gowns hung in our wardrobe. We slept quietly and we woke to church bells and the smell of baking bread -- what else could anyone ask for on an extended weekend visit to Florence? This little gem was reasonably priced, quiet and clean. We definitely will be back, very soon!
