The property is in a good location to visit the main nearby cities like Taormina, Giardini Naxos, etc. The cleanliness is good. The breakfast was neither abundant nor varied. What was negative was the management. We arrived and the mother of the property owner had assigned us a very tight parking spot in the courtyard, and on the first day we parked albeit with some difficulty. On the second day, we returned around midnight and found the spot occupied. I called the owner, who was not on the property, to inform her of the inconvenience of finding the spot occupied, and she replied that there was no assigned parking, while her mother had told me otherwise. She suggested parking behind other cars present in a better way. According to her, the principle that whoever arrives first chooses the spot was valid, which did not happen on our arrival since there were no cars in the courtyard, and the mother made us park in a tight spot, so much so that I had to get out of the car from the passenger side because it was impossible from the driver's side. So, if the rule that whoever arrives first chooses the spot was valid, why wasn't it applied on our arrival? After settling in, we wanted to take a shower and noticed that the water was cold. Since we had come from a day at the beach, I preferred to take a cold shower rather than not take one at all. After taking the shower, I decided to report the issue to the owner, and magically, after a few minutes, the water became hot. Perhaps they had turned off the boiler for energy saving reasons. Furthermore, the room was facing the street and there was a lot of noise from both cars and people. Additionally, the same room was attached to the breakfast room, and in the morning, we could hear all the noise from the guests there. In my opinion, the property needs better organization.
