The Anfi House is located inside the remains of the Roman Amphitheater dating back to the 1st century AD, and still visible in its elliptical shape and the layout of the medieval buildings, in one of which the Anfi House is located.
Of the Roman Amphitheater remains an arch in travertine wedges and the remains of the amphitheater are scattered in the neighborhood and in some private courtyards in which remains of the arches and walls can be seen. Towards the cathedral of San Rufino, there is the so-called "torrione", a tomb remains under which passes the "via tecta".
