The B&B “Cascina La Barona” is housed in an ancient farmhouse, dating back to 1861. The building was recently renovated, trying to combine the original characteristics of Piedmontese farmhouses with the services that a hospitality facility requires. The steep central staircase, typical of this architecture, remained, but we wanted to equip the rooms with comforts that were certainly not expected in farmers' homes: in-room toilets, internet connection, mosquito nets.

The isolated position, in the middle of the countryside and far from any communication route, is suitable for those seeking tranquility and silence. The distance from the center of Savigliano - 3 km - can be covered using our bicycles; it is also possible to reach the town with a walk, or take some paths that will lead you, in about 20 minutes, to the path on the Maira, a fascinating natural path that runs alongside the river for a stretch of at least 10 km.

Our house is inhabited all year round, it is our residence. We are committed to hosting you in the best possible way, also offering you natural products made by us; in exchange we ask you to remember that ours is a family-run hospitality business.

We will reserve informal and friendly treatment for you; if you like it, it will be a pleasure for us to exchange a few words with you or provide you with information on the numerous tourist destinations that are within a few kilometers, such as recommending trattorias and restaurants in our area; if you prefer confidentiality, we will have absolute respect for your silence.

You can spend time in the garden, enjoy the shade of the trees or sunbathe on the sun loungers. In the cooler season you will find the fireplace lit in the living room and some comfortable armchairs in which to enjoy the warmth of the fire.
