Via Garibaldi, 78 - ALEZIO (LE)
Villarancia is located in the immediate vicinity of the town of Alezio, a Messapian town located 4 km from Gallipoli, a well-known seaside destination on the Salento Ionian coast. In a short time and fairly easily, it is possible to reach the beaches and the blue sea, as well as the provincial capital, Lecce, with its wonderful Baroque architecture, and other tourist attractions of renowned interest.

The original construction of the structure dates back to the middle of the 18th century, carried out by noble Gallipoli residents. Subsequent maintenance work has led to its current appearance.

Today it appears as an elegant historic residence that, thanks to skillful conservative restorations, has preserved all its beauty over time.

The villa has been owned by the Piccinno Family for three generations.

The guest rooms are located on the first floor, which was once dedicated to the social life of the ancient owners. The walls and vaults are magnificently decorated and frescoed, while the floors are made of Venetian terrazzo with mother-of-pearl inserts. The furnishings are particularly well-cared for.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a television, and a refrigerator, and have a private bathroom equipped with a shower, hairdryer, towels, and a bath towel.

The villa, accessed via a long tree-lined avenue, is immersed in a large and well-maintained garden, surrounded in turn by a vast and productive citrus grove, which provides a wide variety of oranges and mandarins. Part of the harvest is transformed into citrus jams and juices, made available to guests.

On the rear facade, there is an extensive pergola, with now rare varieties of table grapes, while on the main facade, there is a majestic portico dating back to the beginning of the last century.

In front of the main facade, there is a perfectly functioning circular fountain, which represents a balanced ecosystem where numerous goldfish live in harmony among pink water lilies and other aquatic plants.

In the evening, the beauty of the place is enhanced by suggestive lighting.
