Vico Secondo Delle Sabbie, 4 - CALASETTA (CI)
The recently born Modern and Welcoming Hotel Le Sabbie, located on the island of Sant'Antioco, takes its name from what once occupied this land, an expanse of amber sand dunes.

Just 5 minutes away from the Sotto Torre beach and the historical center, we welcome you to an environmentally sensitive structure, to tell you about this wonderful island and to spend an unforgettable vacation together.

This small family-run modern hotel, a technological gem, is located 400 meters from the Sotto Torre beach and 600 meters from the town center.

The hotel has 30 spacious rooms, each with an independent entrance, a comfortable veranda or covered terrace, and equipped with all comforts. The hotel provides self-check-in technology, room service, and organizes courses for its guests such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, guided bike tours, horseback riding, or quad excursions, trekking in the uncontaminated nature of south Sardinia, and boat rentals to admire the splendid coasts of the Sulcis archipelago, a natural habitat for unique bird species in the world. The coasts of Carloforte and Calasetta are also a crossing point for the famous red tuna, highly sought after by Japanese sushi masters, and families of dolphins can often be seen swimming in these crystal-clear waters.

The hotel Le Sabbie also has a large and secure internal parking lot, from which you have access to your own home and a pedestrian passage to reach the nearest beach easily, without the need to take the car.

The structure is environmentally conscious, entirely built in recyclable ISO 9001 material, with photovoltaic and solar thermal panels that make it self-sufficient for its energy needs.

The name Le Sabbie is inspired by its location, which occupies what was once an expanse of sand, an ancient land where Carignano grape vineyards have been thriving for centuries, typical of the Sulcitana area and cultivated since Phoenician times.

The island of Sant'Antioco is connected to the mainland by an isthmus and is 90 km from Cagliari airport, reachable by car in about an hour. One of the peculiarities of this ancient island is the presence of numerous beaches, eight to be exact, in addition to several spectacular cliff areas, among the most unusual and suggestive in Sardinia. The island of Sant'Antioco is also a land of pre-Nuragic, Nuragic, Phoenician, and Roman history, with an enogastronomic tradition linked to a blend of Sardinian, Arab, and Genoese influences. It is rich in archaeological museums and realities that make it a unique place in the world.

Calasetta is a unique jewel of its kind. A vacation on this island will allow you to discover a mix of different traditions, including the Tabarkina tradition, a fundamental part of the magical history of Calasetta and Carloforte.
