The B&B "La Bottega d'Arte" is on the second floor of Palazzo Lattanzi, a nineteenth-century family building in via Cavour, one of the main streets of Carrara in front of the town square. A short distance away are Piazza Alberica and the oldest center with Palaces, Monuments, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Bars and the Academy of Fine Arts.

By car, it can be reached from the motorway or via Aurelia by going up Viale XX Settembre with paid parking in Piazza 2 Giugno in front of the B&B (free Saturday afternoon and Sunday) or in nearby free parking; on arrival and departure, the owned garage can be used for loading and unloading luggage.

By train, you can get there by bus and public transport from the Avenza railway station.

Carrara is a UNESCO Creative City for art workshops and from the B&B you can visit the historic center, the marble quarries and the surrounding area on foot, by bicycle, by public transport, by car and organize guided tours.

From Viale XX Settembre you descend towards the Tuscan Sea and Marina di Carrara, with bathing establishments, bars and welcoming tourist clubs. Visits to the Cinque Terre Natural Park and to the nearby cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence can be scheduled.

The B&B "La Bottega d'Arte" has three rooms with REI and soundproof doors, oak parquet flooring, marble bathroom, antique bathtub or shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, SKY Q and Smart TV. Two bedrooms have an armchair bed for an additional seat; baby cot can be added. The whole system is energy-saving with LED lights.

The living room, in the ancient marble kitchen, has a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, kettle, teapot. You can read the books in the bookstore and make "Bookcrossing" exchanges, use antique tableware, use appetizers, enjoy art and design objects that can also be purchased.

The Host, architect, antiquarian, expert in history, architecture, nature of the city and the territory is available for the reception, to provide useful information on restaurants, shops, the surrounding area, visits to the Marble Quarries, Museums, telling guests the story of the monuments. Palazzo Lattanzi also hosts "Corrado Lattanzi Architecture Studio", "Antichità Lattanzi" and "Galleria Valeria Lattanzi", where you can buy art, antiques, artistic souvenirs, modern and contemporary art.
