Welcome to Pianazzola, a small old village over Chiavenna city. B&B Vecchiascuola offers beautiful rooms and a restaurant. Wi-Fi throughout on site are free of charge. Pianazzola is a small village in the mountains top of Chiavenna at 630m asl, with only 50 people living there, 5km away from Chiavenna center. Here you can enjoy peace and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The building was previously a Primary School for the kids living in the village until 1981, then it was closed and remained empty for many years, until the City of Chiavenna decided to sell it at auction. It was bought by a Swiss young man and renovated in 2016/2018. The rooms are all with a TV and bathroom with shower and are d3corated according to school subjects. All the rooms have beautiful mountain view. Breakfast at Vecchiascuola is optuonal and served in the restaurant at the ground floor, it offers sweet and savoury food, mainly local Italian food. Better to reserve a table if you want to dine there.
