YOUR HOSTS: FILIPPO & LAURA

We live in the countryside and have been working in hospitality for 20 years at "Ancora del Chianti Bed & Breakfast" on the hills of Greve in Chianti.

As most of our life is on a charming and quiet countryhill, we wanted a super special location for our city breaks: with Guelfa Vintage, his location and vintage charm was love at first sight!

During the renovation we kept the vintage details and recreated accents of our beloved life in the Chianti hill for a vintage rustic touch combined with modern facilities.

The apartment is located in the most traditional, international and trendy quartier of Florence. Just a few steps away from the apartment you find Mercato Centrale, Duomo, Accademia Gallery with David, International Art and Cooking Schools, Culture Institutions and Italian and Foreign Universities. This is where we love to stroll, meet people and dine when in town.

This unique location let us participate in Florentine life, following our passions.

Laura is a true art lover and paints with a Florence based group of artists. She is also sewing addicted and creates fabric bags in her atelier in Chianti. Florence with its grand art tradition and its avant-garde artists and fashion manages to suggest impulses towards new creative visions.

Filippo in his spare time is a winemaker and trumpet player. In Florence you can enjoy clubs with live concerts and wine bars: so inspiring...

Guelfa Vintage is our cosy rustic home in Florence for our vibrant city escapes.

We are happy to share: enjoy Florence as we do!
