Framed in a charming early 20th-century setting, Palazzo Santa Caterina opens its doors as the only historic reception palace located in the center of Dorgali.

Immersed in an enchanting place just a few kilometers from the sea, surrounded by the unspoiled landscapes of Sardinia that offer unique views, scents, and flavors throughout the year.

The structure still preserves the charm of that era. It takes its name from the adjacent church, Santa Caterina D'Alessandria, the most important religious building in Dorgali, which still maintains the traditional tolling of the hours with the chimes of its ancient bell tower.

The noble palace has recently been renovated, paying attention to every detail of the period. The accuracy of the spaces makes it a versatile structure capable of meeting the needs of every customer.

The rooms are furnished with prestigious furniture, artworks, and craftsmanship, all important and valuable complements. Inside the structure, there are two quadruple rooms with private bathrooms, connected to each other through an internal door, but at the same time, each room has private access from the outside. There are also two other rooms with private bathrooms.

Every guest can access the following common areas:
- Kitchen equipped with dishes and various utensils, hob, and fridge.

- Terrace: a large equipped terrace for outdoor dining, with a barbecue area, overlooking the historic center of the village where breakfast can be served.

- Fireplace room: a large elegantly furnished room used as a breakfast and lounge area, where our guests can enjoy the rich family library.

- Lounge: dominating the structure is a spacious relaxation room with prestigious antique sofas, characterized by artistic stained glass windows and ancient mosaics.

A few kilometers away, it is possible to reach the tourist resort of Cala Gonone, a small village directly on the sea, consisting of a tourist harbor from which various ferries can be taken to visit the coves and caves (Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine, Cala Goloritzè, Grotta del Bue Marino, and Grotta del Fico). The beaches of Cala Gonone, such as the central beach, Palmasera promenade, "Sos Dorroles, S'Abba Meiga, and Ziu Martine", can be reached from the house in just a few minutes. Instead, 5 km away, you can visit the beautiful beaches of Cala Cartoe and Osalla di Dorgali.

This territory is rich in archaeological sites. Not to be missed are visits to the villages of Serra Orrios, Nuraghe Mannu, Gorroppu, the Nuragic village of Tiscali, the Ispinigoli caves, and the aquarium, with the conclusion of the visit to the archaeological museum. In the village, it is possible to taste typical Sardinian products (suckling pig, hams, sausages, cheeses, ravioli, gullurgiones, seadas) or fish-based dishes thanks to the presence of renowned restaurants. The village of Dorgali is famous for its filigree work, ceramics, carpet workshops, leather goods, dairy, and social winery, and it is rich in popular traditions.
