Lo. Valacca S.p. 102 Km 2,3, Snc
Located on a hill, Garden Rooms Affittacamere Carloforte enjoys a fresh breeze and a beautiful sea-view.

The 6 rooms are surrounded by Mediterranean plants and flowers. It is only 2 km far from the village and 5 minutes’ drive to the beaches.

The Island of San Pietro, ancient Genoese colony, offers the tourists the possibility to do water sports, such as scuba-diving and snorkelling to explore the breathtaking sea bed, besides sailing and swimming in crystal clear sea-water. You can join a guided tour organised by LIPU (Italian Birds Protection Fund) to see the Eleanor Falcons (Falco della Regina), which nest on the cliffs. You can also visit the salt-water ponds, where Pink Flamingos and Herons live all year round, and the old Tuna Factory (still in operation) : every year, at the end of May, a festival, GIROTONNO, is organised in Carloforte to celebrate the abundant catching of tuna fish.

If you want to fully appreciate the beauty of the coast and cliffs of the island, you can go on a boat tour, which leaves every morning from the port and takes you around the island, with stops for swimming.

The Island of San Pietro is a unique place, where several traditions meet: Genoese, Tunisian, and Sardinian. They have greatly influenced the local dialect, Tabarkino, and the variety of delicious food prepared on the island. The architecture is very interesting, too: the houses and their colours are very similar to those you can find along the coast of Liguria.

Garden Rooms-Affittacamere Carloforte, newly built, offers en-suite rooms with air-conditioning and a rich breakfast.

It also offers its guests the use of a fully-equipped kitchen for light meals to be enjoyed on the terrace. Bottled mineral water is free. All of these are included in the price.
