General information: The B&B is located in Villa Santina in the province of Udine, within the inter-municipal park of the Carnic Hills, at the junction of the valleys that lead, on one side, towards the Mauria Pass, encountering the "pearls of the Alps" of Sauris and Forni di Sopra towards the Friulian Dolomites (a UNESCO World Heritage site), while on the other side, it goes towards Sappada and the Coglians massif. The location is an ideal starting point for cycling excursions on the climbs of the Giro d'Italia, such as Zoncolan (12 km to the start of the climb) and Crostis. For art and culture enthusiasts, the proximity to Illegio should not be forgotten, as it hosts international exhibitions of sacred art every year, while the museum network of Carnia offers a wide choice of themes. Hiking itineraries such as the Path of the Parish Churches, the Path of Faith, and the Path of the Tagliamento offer the opportunity to explore fascinating routes on foot or by mountain bike, allowing you to discover the hidden corners of Carnia and pass through the Roman center of Iulium Carnicum. We are facing the "Devil's Flour" via ferrata that leads to the plateau of Lauco. In winter, the nearby snowy slopes of Zoncolan guarantee guaranteed fun for all winter sports enthusiasts, with the possibility of ending the day at the Arta Terme thermal center.
