Via Giovanni Battista Piranesi, 17a - Mestre, VENEZIA (VE)
Convenient to the exit of the highway and next to the main shopping center and the Ospedale dell'Angelo, the Solare B&B, cuddly and bright, is on the third and top floor of a building located in a quiet area of ??the city.

The street where it is located is extremely quiet and close to a small park.

It is well served by shops (food, pharmacy, newsagent, tobacconist).

Transportation services are convenient: the bus stop is less than a hundred meters away from the B&B.

From the stop you can reach the historic center of Venice (in 25 minutes), the railway station, and the Ospedale dell'Angelo (in 2 minutes).

The airport can be reached in 15 minutes by taxi but is also convenient by bus.

For the accommodation of the car, there is easy parking in the immediate vicinity, the street is quiet and not busy: the area is free.

In the apartment where I live, I make available to my guests a large double bedroom (where, if already requested, the single bed with the normal dimensions of 80 x 190 and 16 cm high mattress will also be placed), air-conditioned and with a small terrace; a private bathroom and a breakfast room.

I live alone in the apartment; you will meet a friendly and reserved hospitality.

In the morning before going to work I prepare everything necessary for a good breakfast.

You will find fruit, yoghurt, bread, cereals, jams, juice, milk, coffee, tea and more when you wake up.

Breakfast is included in the price.

Lunches and dinners: the use of stoves for the preparation of food is not allowed but it is possible to have meals in the kitchen as long as with ready-made dishes.

I supply sheets and towels (the change is made every three days).

I have a wi-fi network. Access is free.

I work in Venice, in museums and if you wish, it will always be a pleasure to be able to provide you with tips and useful information for your stay in Venice or for visits to other nearby places of tourist interest. All this personally or with various information material prepared by me and at your disposal.

I personally take care of the cleaning of the apartment and the positive reviews of all these years are the gratification of this particular care of mine.

I added to the usual procedures, following the Covid-19 virus, further attention.

I use cleaning chemicals that are effective against Covid-19.

You will find everything you need right now: antibacterial hand disinfectant, gloves, disposable wipes, absorbent paper, paper tissues and whatever else should be useful.

While I take care of the cleaning of the premises, cleaning products and disinfectants remain at your disposal.

City tax is not included in the total price (the tourist tax is not included in the price)
It will be paid by you upon arrival (will be paid upon your arrival)
Tourist tax fees: from February 1st to December 31st:
the tourist tax is 1 euro and 40 cents per person per night (the tourist tax is 1 euro and 40 cents per person per night. Only for the first 5 nights).

This is valid for the first 5 nights; from the sixth, included, you do not pay anything more.

Also: children from 0 to 10 years do not pay (children from 0 to 10 years do not pay the tax).

Children from 10 to 16 pay 0, 70 cents for children for night (children from 10 to 16 pay half).

From January 1st to January 31st the tax is half the price.

Upon your arrival, as all the hosts are obliged to do by law in Italy, I will ask you to be able to see your documents in order to register your presence on the website of the Municipality. I remain at your disposal for any clarification.

SOME TIPS: Venice is a quiet and safe city (even at night) but beware of pickpockets. It is good to always carry the backpacks in front (pickpockets cut the bottom of the backpack). Try not to sit and eat on the steps in Piazza San Marco: you risk being fined. Finally, try to always make the bus ticket; tickets are generally on sale in newspaper kiosks and tobacconists. Every now and then the controllers get on the bus and the fines are quite high.
.but in broad terms this is all you need to know to spend a pleasant holiday in Venice serenely.

I just have to wish you a good stay in Venice!
