Nested among world famous "Soave" vineyards, its position allows many excursions through woods, vineyards and footpaths in the surroundings.

The name "Col de Riosse", literally "Iris Hill", is meant to evoke Iris, a flower which is growing in the surroundings and was picked up by countrymen, dried and used as a basis to fight aliments.
