Contrada Molpa - Arco Naturale, Snc - Palinuro, CENTOLA (SA)
Nserted in an ancient peasant village, in the countryside just outside Palinuro, there is the Bed and Breakfast "Il Vecchio Gelso", a residence with a rather bucolic air.

Due to its characteristics, our structure is a solution recommended especially for nature lovers.

We are just 450 meters away. from the Arco Naturale beach, which can be reached on foot following the cycle path that passes right under the house.

A stay with us represents an alternative to the classic holiday, understood as beach, sea and possibly a bit of evening or nightlife.

Those who come to us do so because they are primarily looking for experiential tourism. In fact, the guest will be able to "savour" a unique, different, unrepeatable holiday rich in cultural values, where the protagonist is the guest himself, who will be able to get to know the numerous inland villages not far away, taste its typical products such as cheese of goat, mozzarella in Mortella, tasting the different qualities of local wines, recipes from the past such as "maracucciata", anchovies from "menaica", visiting ancient villages such as Roccagloriosa, Pisciotta, Camerota, taking long walks through the rich trail network, meeting original people like Giuseppe Spagnuolo, the last inhabitant of Roscigno Vecchia, a ghost village in the Cilento hinterland, listening to tales of bandits, local stories from other times.

For sports lovers we recommend horseback riding excursions that can be practiced at the riding school not far from the B&B, or those on a Quad along dirt tracks that will take you to discover places and landscapes of rare beauty such as Mount Bulgheria or the Ciolandrea plateau.

Here with us it is nature that does the honors of the house: the olive trees, the oaks, the prickly pears and the Mediterranean scrub, centuries-old witnesses of a history of nature and tradition.

The structure consists of two residential units obtained from the old farmhouse that belonged to my ancestors.

On the ground floor there is a double room obtained from the cellar of which it still retains its features. It has an en suite bathroom and a tiny kitchenette. It also has a reserved space in the shade of the strawberry grape pergola.

On the first floor there is another residential unit consisting of a kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms; the first is a double bed while the other has two single beds, which when placed together can potentially become another double bed.

All rooms are furnished with furniture that belonged to my ancestors.
