Via Roma, 7 - SCIGLIANO (CS)
Our B&B is located in Scigliano, in the central part of Calabria. The building hosting our B&B was built at the beginning of 1800, in the old part of Scigliano, called Diano.

From 1934 to 1993, on the ground floor of this building, there was the Ripoli’s bakery that sold its bread to the whole village and its surroundings. So we have transformed those premises into our B&B.

There is a very nice terrace where you can have breakfast, relax in the sun and enjoy the nature.

Scigliano is a hill town with a territory that extends from a minimum altitude of 200 meters above sea level (Ponte Romano II sec. ac, below the village Lupia) to a maximum of 1, 000 meters (Agrifoglio village in full Presila).

The area extends over about 17 square kilometers of Mediterranean, unspoiled land, where you can enjoy flora and fauna of the different altitudes. It is not difficult to admire the flight of buzzards, hear the rooster crowing at dawn or see a royal woodpecker, a weasel, a fox, or a badger close to the city center.

Several trails meander through the surrounding woods where you can easily find sources of natural spring water. The trails are also equipped with picnic facilities. The urban area consists of 9 villages, many of which still well-preserved old towns, where you can visit monasteries, churches, palaces and houses.

You can find Scigliano to be an alternative vacation destination, a place of ecological and cultural value at once.

You can easily reach the city of Cosenza and Catanzaro, the Sila National Park with its lakes (Ampollino, Arvo and Cecita) and villages (Longobucco, San Severina), and in the Northern direction, the Pollino National Park with its beautiful villages (Morano, Civita, Altomonte) and canyon (Raganello). Not far away are the renowned beach resorts and lovely towns towering over the Mediterranean Sea, like Pizzo, Tropea, Aeolian Islands Scilla, Amantea, Fiumefreddo, ancient towns of great historical and architectural heritage overlooking the crystal blue sea.
