Via Case Corradi, 31 - TRECASALI (PR)
The B&B is located in Trecasali, a small town situated between Parma and the Po River, originally divided into three separate farmhouses by the "Ghiaiata" road (now via Nazionale). The first document about Trecasali dates back to 1302. It was established as an autonomous municipality by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1806, and the first mayor was a certain Antonio Gallani installed on April 8, 1806. Located in a strategic position, it is 20 km from Parma (where you can visit many monuments and beautiful shops), 10 km from Colorno (famous for the Ducal Palace, now home to ALMA - "International School of Italian Cuisine"), 4 km from the LIPU Oasis in Torrile, and 20 km from Fidenza where the Fidenza Village Outlet is located for shopping enthusiasts. Also located a few kilometers away is Roncole Verdi, a place known for being the birthplace of composer Giuseppe Verdi. The village cemetery is the burial place of writer Giovannino Guareschi, author of the literary-cinematographic figures of Don Camillo and Peppone. Worth mentioning are the "Ciclotaro", a 8.5 km cycle route on the embankment of the Taro that connects Trecasali to Viarolo, and the "ParmaPo", a cycle route of over 50 km that connects Mezzani to Polesine Parmense, passing through Colorno, Sissa, Roccabianca and Zibello. For golf lovers, there are 5 courses available within a radius of 40 km (Golf Club Castell'Arquato, Golf Club La Rocca, Golf Club Il Torrazzo, Salsomaggiore Golf & Country Club, Matilde di Canossa Golf Club), while for those who prefer holidays focused on physical well-being, the Thermal Baths of Salsomaggiore, Tabiano and Monticelli are reachable. The structure consists of 3 cozy double rooms finely furnished in a '900 style, equipped with private facilities, shower, TV, air conditioning, parking, availability of bicycles and, soon to be activated, Wi-Fi internet connection service. Small pets are allowed.
