Ideal home base for sightseeing Rome and attending sport and art events on foot, avoiding the Roman traffic and the crowd, B&B A Casa di Lia a Roma features 2 cozy guestrooms, one with a queen-size bed, the other with double bed - twin beds and extra bed on request, both with ensuite bathroom, one with shower, the other one with jacuzzi tub, WiFi, central heating, AC, TV, hair-drier and mosquito nets. Breakfast room with kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, coffee and cappuccino machine, kettle. Continental self service buffet breakfast included.

The bed and breakfast is separated from the rest of the house where Lia lives, so that you can keep your own privacy and feel at home in a friendly and safe environment. Lia speaks English and some Spanish and French. Guests will get the information to enjoy their Roman holidays. The view is over the trees of the gardens and the roofs and the terraces of Rome. Excellent restaurants nearby.

Historic central Rome - Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, Villa Borghese, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona - is only 15 minutes far on foot from B&B A Casa di Lia; the Olympic Stadium, Foro Italico, Auditorium Parco della Musica, MAXXI, Teatro Olimpico and Ponte Milvio are only a few steps.

Payment upon arrival by cash only or the 2nd day. Credit cards and cheques are not accepted.

Check in always on appointment. Please let me know your arrival time at the B&B in advance and call or text 15 minutes before arrival at the B&B and in case of delay: there is not a reception service available 24hrs like in the hotels.

Bed & Breakfast A Casa di Lia a Roma is inside Villa Riccio, which has several gates on Lungotevere Flaminio, Viale del Vignola, Via Stern and Via Donatello. B&B’s entrance is from 48 Lungotevere Flaminio (Palazzo 3 is the 3rd building on the left). If you arrive by bus, the closest entrance is from 75 Viale del Vignola (in such case, Palazzo 3 is the 2nd building on the right).

From Fiumicino – Leonardo da Vinci Airport: by coach or by train Leonardo Express to Termini Station.

From Ciampino Airport: by coach to Termini Station.

From Termini Station (Stazione Termini) : either by bus No. 910 or by underground line A + tram No. 2.

By bus No. 910: outside the main exit of the station, from Piazza dei Cinquecento, bus No. 910 (direction Mancini). Get off at Vignola stop (the 1st stop in Viale del Vignola). Cross the boulevard and come in from the gate 75 Viale del Vignola.

By underground line A + tram/streetcar No. 2: take underground line A (direction Battistini) and get off at the 4th stop Flaminio-Piazza del Popolo. From Piazzale Flaminio, beginning Via Flaminia, take tram No. 2 (direction Mancini). Get off at the 3rd stop Ankara. Walk back until the traffic lights. Turn right in the direction of the buildings on Via Flaminia, then straight on Via Fracassini up to Lungotevere Flaminio. Turn right, walk along the block of Villa Riccio until the gate No. 48.

By taxi: make sure the taxi is a legal, authorized taxi: it is white and there is written “TAXI” on it and the phone number of the taxi company on a side. Prices from Fiumicino airport start from 50 €. From Ciampino airport from 31 €. From Termini, about 10 €.

By car: on the G. R. A., the freeway ring around Rome, from North, exit No. 6 Tor di Quinto - RAI Saxa Rubra (the No. 6 has not been printed on the sign) towards the center of Rome (direction Flaminio, Corso Francia). Go always straight, cross Ponte Flaminio and Corso Francia above the Olympic Village with the Auditorium on your left and turn right with Stadio Flaminio on your right. Then go straight, direction Roma Centro keeping your right and turn right on Lungotevere Flaminio, just before the traffic lights. Lungotevere Flaminio No. 48 is at the end of the next block, before the traffic lights. Other exits on the G. R. A. are No. 8, Salario - Parioli (from East), or No. 1 Aurelia – Città del Vaticano (from North-West), or No. 26 Roma EUR (from South).

If you come from other areas of Rome, follow the directions to Auditorium.

Parking facilities: Bed & Breakfast A Casa di Lia a Roma is not in a zone restricted to traffic, so you can freely drive in the area. You can park around the block on Lungotevere Flaminio, Viale del Vignola, Via Stern and Via Donatello in the blue lines (Monday to Friday, pay and display parking, €4, 00 all day long. Saturday and Sunday free).

Parking is always free of charge in the white lines. In Piazza Mancini and Piazzale Ankara parking costs about 2 € all day.

The closest garage is on via Donatello 67F and costs €20, 00 per day.
