Our B&B is located in the historic center in the heart of the Historical Market of Ballarò, which has been existing for 1100 years.
Leaving the '60s property building, you will immediately find yourself immersed into the market, made up of old scents of exhilarating presence, delicious food, vivacious merchants of spices, meats and fish, vegetables and fruit, accessories and souvenirs. All accompanied by folkloristic local habits and customs, perfectly mixed with those of faraway lands. In the market, more than 25 different languages are spoken.
From our terrace it is possible to listen and watch the market with its unique "abbanniata", the selling-goods style of the merchqnts evoking the glorious Arabic Golden Age.
STREET FOOD
Finding a lot of food for all pockets. From the classic and famous sandwich with spleen to arancina. Or panelle (chickpea flour) and crocchè (potato balls). And then again the stigghiole, the cuarume, u mussu, the boiled octopus, salt and lemon and a glass of wine, cannoli with sheep's milk ricotta, fried aubergines, artichokes and boiled potatoes.
