Poggio Foco is an organic farm on 400 hectares, ideally situated high on the Maremma hills, with a splendid panorama that stretches from Monte Amiata to the sea, a mere half-hour drive away.
Majestically set between the towns of Manciano and Capalbio, Poggio Foco is equally near the sandy beaches of Ansedonia and the renowned thermal baths of Saturnia, at which Poggio Foco guests enjoy a special discount.
As a vacation destination, Poggio Foco offers spacious apartments in stone buildings, and every apartment is decorated with antique furniture so that guests may truly enjoy their “own” country home. Each apartment has a living room with fireplace and television, a kitchen, and bathroom (s).
Guests also enjoy Poggio Foco’s swimming pool and restaurant.
Prices include initial and final cleaning, welcome basket with products for breakfast, change of towels mid-week and change of all the linen at the end of the week, wi-fi, swimming pool (in summer), mountain bike (if available), washing machine and barbecue area.

We do not serve breakfast to our guests, but they will find a welcome basket with breakfast products at the beginning of their stay.
The apartments are very comfortable and normally equipped, and everyone usually organizes meals independently.

Restaurant
After a very intense day, our restaurant is able to offer dishes from the traditional Maremma cuisine, carefully prepared using organic products from the Farm, from our vegetable garden to the meats of Maremman veal, lamb, and wild boar, to the organic oil from our olive groves, to the pecorino cheeses. Before dining in the ancient stone hall, by candlelight, you can have an aperitif tasting our wines in the bar-wine shop.

Sometimes, to achieve our desires, it is enough to make our dreams come true. This thought convinced our father to purchase a significant property in the heart of Maremma in 1977. Staying at our farm is an authentic and non-virtual experience in a genuine and non-touristic environment where nature is not an exception but a rule! We are a 450-hectare organic farm that produces oil and wine, raises Maremma cows with long horns, milk sheep and wild boars.
