Welcoming and well-kept structure in every detail, suitable for both couples and families to spend a few days in tranquility surrounded by greenery. Managers very helpful for check-in time and to provide information about the area. Convenient to reach the center of Mantua in a few minutes by car and to visit the surroundings. Absolutely recommended.

This Bed & Breakfast has truly beautiful views! Quiet place, large, beautiful and clean room. Breakfast like you would have at home but with homemade jam, honey, and cake. Fresh fruit picked from the garden. Chiara was very kind, she provided us with information on where to eat and we had a great time. She gave us tips on the villages to visit, in short, really precious. It was a discovery this place. Everything was perfect, three days of escape from Milan in an unexpected place. The only very small downside was the pool, which was not in-ground, so no pool edge, but it was still there and we appreciated it. Very well maintained also for water cleanliness.

Great for spending a few days in complete tranquility. I recommend it.

The accommodation is quite idyllic, quiet and located in the countryside. The host family is extremely friendly and nice. Upon arrival, they show everything and even explain the history of the family and the farm, including the renovation. Everything is very clean. They put effort into every detail and there is a swimming pool. Tips are given for excursions in the area. Mantua is right nearby and very beautiful, but you can also reach Verona or Lake Garda and the countryside in 50 minutes. The breakfast was ok, but it was also affected by Covid, so many things were adjusted, little open and reduced. The air conditioning in the room was good and very quiet.

Pleasant environment in the countryside, spacious and clean room with TV, abundant breakfast, affordable.

The hospitality of Chiara and Valerio was excellent. The structure is clean, welcoming, well-kept, and surrounded by greenery. The owners met our needs, helping us find a restaurant for dinner and making me find a delicious gluten-free cake made by the mother, a truly sweet and kind lady. Our stay lasted only one night but we spent pleasant moments chatting with them and the other guests. A beautiful refreshment stop on our bike trip along the Oglio river. Highly recommended!

Struttura curata ed accogliente, immersa nella totale tranquillità della pianura (dotata di una piccola piscina che risulta determinante nella stagione calda!), ma con la bellissima Mantova a soli 20 km. La professionalità, disponibilità, puntualità e gentilezza della signora Chiara sono rare a trovarsi. Consigliato a famiglie Elena & famiglia.

Disponibilità e cortesia, da parte dei gestori, posizione tranquilla immersa nel verde, adatta agli amanti di cicloturismo. Posizione ottimale per percorrere le innumerevoli ciclovie in riva ai fiumi Po e Oglio. Da non perdere la fantastica ciclovia Mantova-Sabbioneta.

Siamo stati ospiti all'Alveare in occasione del B&B day e ci siamo trovati benissimo: tutti i servizi della struttura sono stati eccellenti e, quando ci sono delle gratuità non è affatto scontato. Non solo, la signora Chiara ci ha addirittura offerto di soggiornare in una stanza ancora più grande di quella che avevamo prenotato, senza alcuna maggiorazione. Il B&B è veramente comodo per visitare Mantova e alla sera tornare in un ambiente tranquillo, silenzioso, in stretto contatto con la natura. Chiara e Valerio sono due persone molto accoglienti e diventa facile parlare, raccontarsi e ascoltare, come se ci si conoscesse da tanto tempo. La cura per la memoria del luogo e delle proprie origini, non si esaurisce nella bellissima ristrutturazione conservativa del vecchio fienile, ma si rivela nei racconti e nella disposizione non casuale degli oggetti, nelle stanze e nel bellissimo cortile. Pochissime volte come questa volta, abbiamo trascorso due giorni in un luogo portando via con noi molto più di un bel ricordo e lasciando, a nostra volta, un pezzetto di noi. Luca e Cristina.

Pur soggiornando solo una notte, abbiamo potuto cogliere il clima di cordialità e di ospitalità che regna all'Alveare. Chiara, il marito Valerio e anche la mamma Assunta sono persone molto gentili, simpatiche e premurose. Ci hanno mostrato con orgoglio il loft ricavato nel fienile che, grazie ad un'attenta ristrutturazione è uno spazio open space dove si respira l'atmosfera contadina del tempo che fu. In questo ambiente, curato nei particolari con buon gusto, costellato di attrezzi ed utensili appartenuti al passato, durante la bella stagione viene servita la colazione. La camera è spaziosa e tranquilla, la colazione di qualità ed abbondante, servita in una veranda con la stufa accesa. Insomma, è stata una breve parentesi rilassante che ci ha ricaricato. Un B&B perfettamente incastonato nel territorio mantovano, che permette di visitare comodamente alcune città lombarde (Cremona, Mantova) ed emiliane (Parma, Modena), data la particolare collocazione geografica. La vicinanza del Po è molto suggestiva, così come quella del fiume Oglio. I gestori sono persone cordiali e gentili, prodighi di consigli e suggerimenti sui posti da visitare o le trattorie in cui mangiare. La struttura è curata nei dettagli e consente di trascorrere bei momenti in pieno relax a contatto con la natura ed in totale privacy. Noi l'abbiamo visitata nel periodo invernale ma ci piacerebbe venire anche in primavera ed estate per percorrere in bici le stradine romantiche sull'argine del grande fiume.
