A gem you don't expect. Beautiful and particular place, I would say unique in its kind, very welcoming, 20 minutes walk from the historic center. Three hundred meters away there is a bus stop for the center. The owner is very nice, always present and not like those you never see. To recommend.

Albert is a great person and above all authentic. Excellent welcome and excellent quality price.

We stayed in March for 10 days at Alberto and Roberta's CASA SCONTA. We were warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The 'Terrano' apartment was well-equipped and quiet. Two bus lines took us from a nearby bus stop to the center and to other bus lines that ran in the area. Several useful supermarkets, bars, and restaurants were within walking distance. We recommend it and would come back ourselves.

The hoteliers deserve a rating of 10, which is only a small part of what they deserve. I felt at home. They are people of unique courtesy, kindness, and education. If I had to come back, I would always choose them.

Beautiful country farmhouse with a large garden and swimming pool. Rooms furnished in rustic style and clean. Good breakfast. City center reachable on foot with a 15-minute walk but it is possible to take the bus a few steps from the property. Very hospitable and friendly people. We will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended.

Well renovated building, I would say almost unique considering the context in which it is located. Very spacious rooms, bathrooms a bit small but clean and functional. Owner always available and courteous. Very close to public transport to the city center, including the tobacco shop where you can buy tickets.

We are absolutely thrilled. The location is very quiet, but not isolated. Bus stop 3 minutes away. The house has been renovated with great attention to detail. The house is an oasis in the city, with a portico and a front lawn. Very well served by public transport. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. Affordable room cost and furniture and facilities are very much to my liking, old and renovated but still leaving them original. Attention to detail.

Great B&B. The location is perfect for visiting Trieste. The host is friendly, kind, and super helpful. The property is well-maintained down to the details, making you feel 'at home'. I would recommend it to anyone passing through Trieste.

It is a renovated accommodation with style. Very comfortable and the stay was very pleasant. Roberta, Alberto and of course Romeo made us feel at home. We will definitely book on our next visit to Trieste.

We had a very warm reception from Alberto and Roberta. Charming, traditional house. Lovely pool and area to relax in. Nice breakfast with croissants, breads, jams, cereals, yogurt, fruit, home grown grapes, coffee. Spacious room with useful kitchenette. Large bathroom with shower and plenty of hot water. 20 minute walk to station. It felt like a house in the middle of the countryside instead of in the city!

The location was very good and clean for us, complete with a parking lot. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool. We appreciated the distance to Trieste as well; we were able to walk to the center in just half an hour. \n\nThe owners provided us with helpful tips on what to do in the environment, such as taking the train to Venice. Moreover, the price was quite reasonable, making this a great place to stay when exploring the city.

Beautiful mansion. The pool is small, especially for children. It is 3 kilometers from the center, you have to take the bus which is direct.

Super nice accommodation with pool and very hospitable. Roberta and Alberto always have great tips for excursions. Small but sufficient breakfast. Upon request for a fee, you can have delicious bruschetta, cheese, ham, or eggs. About 20-30 minutes walk to the city or easily reachable with bus lines 5 or 8. The public transport network is superbly developed. Supermarket nearby.

We spent a week here in May 2023 and really enjoyed our stay. The location is very close to the bus service that provides easy access to the City Centre and beaches. It is a unique home full of character and Roberta and Alberto (as well as the dog Romeo) are wonderful hosts. Highly recommend!

For those who want to slow down, Alberto & Roberta is the perfect place. We had a very comfortable stay and we gladly recommend it.

Very nice location in an old house, renovated with style and know-how. Quiet place close to downtown Trieste, good access to public transport. Charming hospitality and generosity of Roberta and Alberto. We loved the place.

The choice of the facility, recommended by relatives, was perfect! The owners were hospitable and attentive, with whom it was pleasant to converse and receive very useful advice. The environments are truly original and tastefully furnished. Excellent cleanliness of the room and the location of the B&B in the green, in a quiet area. Easily reachable from the center with the city bus that has frequent and punctual services. A real pleasure to have been at B&B Alla Casa Sconta! Welcomed by Alberto and his wife, excellent hosts who make you feel comfortable with their friendliness. We thank them very much for the two days spent in their home and for the tips on Trieste.

B&B Alla Casa Sconta is very unique: it is hidden but quite close and convenient to the center of Trieste, it has a countryside-like exterior that makes it very special. The managers are affable and helpful! I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

The B&B Alla Casa Sconta is nice with its antique structure, the rooms are clean. I didn't like the fact that on the website it says free parking and yet they asked for an extra 10 euros, even though I didn't end up paying them because I was right. Secondly, if the website states breakfast included in the price, it should be specified that there are extra charge for some food items, so I don't consider these behaviors correct.

Beautiful historic house in the center of Trieste, excellent location, quiet environment and very kind and friendly owners. Parking in the area is a bit difficult but private parking is available upon request for a fee.

The structure is very characteristic and well-kept. Our room was very welcoming and spotless. Alberto and his wife are two exquisite people, with whom you can easily converse as if you had known each other for years.

Casa Sconta is a thoroughly charming and traditional property in rustic style, a short walk and bus ride from the center. The room was really lovely and had a very efficient air conditioner that we didn't expect, but we were very grateful for in this traditional building. Roberto and Alberta were very welcoming, accommodating, and everything was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back if we visit Trieste again.

We stayed with the children (5/7) for 4 days at Roberta and Alberto's place. The house, the garden, and the hosts are very charming and lovely. The children had a lot of fun in the pool. The location is simply optimal. At night it is very quiet, a bus stop and supermarket are reachable in 2-3 minutes on foot. By bus, you can reach the city center in about 10 minutes. The parking space for our car was in the immediate neighborhood on a secure private property. The house dog is very child-friendly. Our room was equipped with a bathtub, shower, toilet, air conditioning, and kitchenette. Wi-Fi is available in and around the house.

A bucolic place within the city. Public transport to the city center is a short distance away. Half an hour walk to the center and fifteen minutes to the station. Friendly and welcoming hosts.

Despite our last-minute booking, we found availability and care from the owners of this beautiful B&B Alla Casa Sconta. It is a very nice stone building with a beautiful garden also available to guests. The pool, not yet operational due to previous adverse weather conditions, will only make the guests' stay even more enjoyable. In our triple room, there was a double bed and a loft where our son's bed was located (he really liked it). The wooden room with exposed beams is really well-kept and delightful. Excellent and abundant breakfast. Very well served by public transport to go to and from the city center in just under 10 minutes, so you don't have to use the car. Excellent value for money! The owners are truly helpful and attentive. I absolutely recommend it! We had a great time. Thank you for everything.

I like rustic structures and that's why I chose this B&B Alla Casa Sconta, even though there was a lot of clutter outside (the manager immediately apologized). In fact, he was preparing for the summer. However, I think that customers should be welcomed in a slightly more orderly context. That being said, our room in this farmhouse was nice, as I expected: clean and welcoming. The manager was very nice and easygoing from the start. The downside is that there, like almost all of Trieste, it's hard to find parking and we had to pay for a parking space owned by the manager (uncovered) at 10 euros per day. Perhaps it could be an added value to offer the parking space to the customer since there isn't much choice, or at least at a lower price. For breakfast, the day before, you can ask for your preferences and you'll be satisfied. He's definitely mindful of waste even though I love a very abundant breakfast with fresh cakes, fruit, homemade jams, etc... But you can't have it all and it worked out just fine. The friendly dog Romeo greets you joyfully every time he sees someone. The garden is very nice and I imagine that customers staying in the summer fully enjoy it. A bit far from the center, but by walking a bit you can take the bus and you're in the beautiful Piazza dell'Unità. The people from Trieste have always been very helpful and kind in all occasions. Well done!

I stayed with my family at this B&B. Excellent hospitality, wonderful hosts, I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few hours in complete relaxation.

Wonderful, unimaginable oasis in the first outskirts of Trieste, not far from the center, with truly exceptional hosts for hospitality and friendliness. What else to say, you really feel good in the "hidden house".

Meraviglioso. Un posto speciale, particolare, un mondo di pace in collina restando in città. Una struttura curata nei dettagli, che ti fa tornare indietro nel tempo restando coccolati da ogni comodità e dai proprietari che ti fanno sentire a casa, ti accolgono, e ti propongono un servizio impeccabile ma mai freddo, condito con il calore che si riserva agli amici. Una notte (ma spero presto altre ancora) in una stanza ottima con una colazione abbondante, varia, in un ambiente caratteristico e curato.

Ho soggiornato in questa bellissima struttura a ottobre e la consiglio. Pur trovandosi a pochi passi dal centro, è molto silenziosa e rilassante, curata, pulita e accogliente. Alberto, il proprietario, è gentilissimo e disponibile.

Soggiornare in questo B&b è stato davvero un piacere. Le camere sono pulite e arredate con personalità. La casa ha un bellissimo patio e un giardino dove potersi rilassare a fine giornata. In più, i proprietari Alberto e Roberta sono davvero disponibili e molto simpatici, pur essendo rispettosi della privacy dei propri ospiti. Colazioni ottime e abbondanti.

Posto meraviglioso, una chicca, molto bello il casolare, pulito e tranquillo. I padroni di casa simpaticissimi e disponibilissimi. La mattina a colazione ci hanno fatto trovare pane caldo fatto in casa e bruschette preparate al momento. TOP! CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Siamo stati accolti da Alberto con simpatia, ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Struttura molto comoda al centro.

Un angolo di Paradiso in cui abbiamo trovato relax e un padrone di casa accogliente e attento, seguito da una dolcissima mascotte. Stanza ariosa, comoda e pulita fornita di aria condizionata. Colazione abbondante e gustosa.

La casa si trova in un quartiere poco lontano dal centro, che si raggiunge con bus super puntuali e frequenti in 5 minuti. Anche se il quartiere a prima vista non è bellissimo, il B&B è una magnifica sorpresa! Un giardino stupendo e curatissimo, con piscina (che purtroppo causa tempo non abbiamo potuto provare), poltroncine, panche e fiori. Appena arrivati la padrona di casa ci ha accolti in modo stupendo, ed è sempre stata perfetta, gentile, disponibile ma mai invadente! C'è una piccola cucina con microonde e frigobar sempre aperta, e si ha subito la sensazione di essere a casa, gli arredi sono una chicca, tutto è stato restaurato a regola d'arte, e al contempo c'è tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno extra-comodo (piccolo frigorifero in stanza, bollitore con set per the e caffè). Infine colazione abbondante e senza particolari restrizioni di orari. Ultima nota, abbiamo avuto qualche inconveniente con l'orario di check in e la proprietaria è stata disponibilissima a venire incontro alle nostre esigenze.. che dire, speriamo di tornare e consigliamo a tutti di soggiornare qui!

Accoglienza e ospitalità ottime, struttura di fascino e tranquilla, perfetta per sentirsi a casa nella bellissima cornice di Trieste!

La struttura è posizionata vicino alla stazione e, con una passeggiata di circa 2,5 km, arriviamo diretti a Piazza Unità d'Italia. Per i più pigri c'è il capolinea dell'autobus nelle vicinanze. I proprietari Alberto e Roberta sono persone veramente squisite, accompagnati dal fido Romeo (il cane) sempre ben disposto alla coccola. Ottima esperienza, da ripetere in futuro.

It's only a 20 min walk to the city center and the house with its big garden is a relaxing oasis. The hosts are very welcoming. Stupendo, perdonate l'entusiasmo, vicino al centro città posto incredibile, bello semplice vero reale, volete vedere Trieste vera, non le cartoline? Fate un salto qui titolare un artista.

Gastgeber Alberto war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer/Bad ist renoviert und war sehr gemütlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Innenstadt von Triest ist zu Fuß in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Stop unserer Italien-Tour.

Io e la mia famiglia siamo stati ospiti alla casa sconta il 12 Dicembre 2015, l'accoglienza, la gentilezza, la pulizia degli ambienti sono state ottime. L'ideale per passare dei giorni sereni, siamo stati accuditi e coccolati con attenzione e con grande simpatia. Paola.

Generalmente impiego un po' di tempo a scegliere la struttura presso cui soggiornare, nel caso della CasaSconta non è stato così: non ha avuto dubbi che la struttura potesse soddisfare i miei gusti. Un luogo tranquillo a pochi passi dal Centro di Trieste e dalla SISSA, l'istituto presso cui ho lavorato. Una bellissima casa antica ristrutturata con molta cura, adatta anche per un soggiorno estivo avendo giardino con piscina. A rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e interessante è stata la conoscenza e la compagnia di Alberto e sua moglie che sono stati preziosissimi in ogni momento, facendomi sentire veramente a casa.

Posto fantastico ed ospitalità unica. Ormai io e la mia famiglia trascorriamo tutti gli anni una breve vacanza alla Casa Sconta per momenti di relax. Grazie di tutto Alberto e Roberta! Un bel 10 su tutti i fronti.

Très bon accueil avec une bonne ambiance familiale où l'on se sent très vite très à l'aise. Le centre ville est à distance de marche et il y a également des arrêts de bus très proches. La propreté est irréprochable et le cadre magnifique. Le jardin et piscine sont sans aucun doute un super plus si vous avez des enfants. Notre petite fille a adoré le lieu et jouer avec les filles de nos hôtes. Un grand merci à Alberto, Roberta et à leurs filles!
